âThis is an exceptional property. It is an oasis hidden in the middle of the French Quarter. After a long day of walking, it was such a treat to cool off in the pool. The complimentary drinks in the pool house were an extra treat. The rooms are beautiful and quiet with plush towels and crisp sheets. Thank you Shaun and Anthony for making our stay so wonderful. We will be returning. â

âThe property was in excellent condition, with all utilities of a high standard.
All communication prior to and after arrival were first class. The check-in procedure was clear and simple and without any problems.
The location was very good for us, reasonably close to the main attractions, with public transport nearby if required. There are also shops nearby for groceries etc if required.
Overall, the apartment contributed greatly to a lovely stay in New Orleansâ

âAbsolutely wonderful stay! The building was old and classy, there was a cute pool, powerful air-conditioning, free bottled water, and it was a quick walking distance from shops and restaurants. The best part has to be the friendly staff, and the three cats in the lobby! â

âThis is a beautiful hotel, it has real French charm. Rooms are beautiful, comfy beds. Sheets could be bit softer. Service is great, love the coffee/tea service at your door each morning. Breakfast was delightful. Loved the speakeasy room and love the decor of the bar area. We will be back!â
âThe enclosed courtyard is beautiful... palm trees, clean pool, nice chairs to stretch out on... I had a 3rd floor walk-up but being able to open French doors to a balcony overlooking the courtyard was WORTH it.
The lady who checked me in was amazingly friendly. I have zero complaints about this place and no comments that aren't good. I would go again in a heartbeat.â

âThe staff was very cordial, very helpful when I asked about getting a hairdresser nearby. The check in staff took the initiative to look for one online and I was able to get an appointment shortly afterwards. I would have liked for there to be a closer smoking section outside the hotel room. Would recommend for convenience. â
âWill stay there again. Excellent property and wonderful staff. It can get noisy on Toulouse, so if youâre an early to bed person- grab some earplugs. â

"Great and nice security people.
Bad cleaning 3 out of 4 days (towels looked dirty, half made bed, old plastic cup left on table etc). Tried to tip extra to get better cleaning, but no. When we did not tip, the cleaning was good, so probably we tipped wrong person.
Tried breakfast in the bar, but waiting time was long and the serving was stopped in the kitchen at the same time we got to order.
Interior in public areas are beautiful. Pool area nice, but really cold water. Good location. "

We recommend Frenchman street much better unless you are 21 and just wanna drink and party.
The food along Canal street is not great and overpriced, like most in tourist areas.
The breakfast at Sonesta hotel was okey, a couple of veggies and it would be better.
The bed was really good!
No pressure in the shower unless you turned it all the way up to the hottest, burning!
No housekeeping unless you stayed at least 7 nights, new towels where available at the front desk.
Laundry room was 4 dollar per machine and wash. "
