âWe are experienced travelers and this was one of, if not the best hotel experience we have had. What set the stay apart was the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. We got advice on wineries, help with restaurant bookings and bookings/discounts on other activities. The location was perfect with very good restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and several wineries we know of within a 10 km radius. We will recommend the hotel to all our friends.â

âI am a repeat visitor to Pontac. A lovely place to spend time at, especially outside on the stoep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Paarl. Definite value for money. The only area for improvement would be breakfast, it is okay, but could use some attention.â

It is easy to get an uber to explore some of the stunning restaurants and vineyards close by. If you want to stay at the hotel all day, they offer great food as well upon requsestâ

Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good.â

The old restaurant has burnt down and been moved up to the main building. It suffer a bit because it is a very small kitchen, but it sounds like they have plans to expand.

"Valde boendet dÄ det lÄg pÄ en golfbana. Kommer nog inte vÀlja det igen, för lÄngt ifrÄn allt, omstÀndigt köra in o ut genom gaten o varje gÄng Àgna tid Ät olika typer av identifiering. PoolomrÄdet, nja, ingen hit direkt. à t en gÄng i restaurangen, en av de sÀmre vi Àtit pÄ i Sydafrika nÄnsin. Kommer nog mest vÀlja guesthouses i fortsÀttningen. "
