Highly recommend this place!
We loved our stay!!! I am surprised it was as reasonably priced as it was. The condo was comfortable and well decorated. Being clean is a big deal to me and it was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a few spices and oil! We appreciated the beach gear. The property management company gave better directions than any other vacation home I have ever stayed at. The one little issue (a broken remote control) we had they responded to right away and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Eat at 7 Brothers and checkout Kawela Bay beach nearby. Mahalo!!!

Great stay!
It was a great stay, the owners were very helpful. The tv’s didn’t work too well but they came and got one to fix, (wasn’t fixed before we left but that was okay) the beach chairs were a little moldy/dirty so we put a towel on them as precaution. The oven smelled a little weird so we didn’t use it as a precaution,when you turned it on so we didn’t use it. But other than that it was a cute, good little unit! Overall it was a great stay! Super clean and comfy.

Great stay, but….
Condo was very clean. Staff was attentive to our needs. There were a few little hiccups, but not major. When we(3 adults) arrived the door wouldn’t open. The door was stuck. I called and it was taken care of quickly. For 3 adults it’s kinda small. There is only 1 air conditioner in the bedroom. For guests not used to the humidity and heat it’s not very cool in the condo. The tv in the bedroom didn’t work, but I really don’t watch tv when I’m there. The tv in the living room worked fine. There were beach supplies, kitchen stocked with basic things, location was close to pools. I still recommend this place. Would I stay here again? Probably not and the reason would be the lack of cooling in the living room/ kitchen area.

Fabulous Stay

Die Ferienwohnung ist großzügig und wunderschön gelegen. Das Sofabett ist etwas unbequem. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt hier und haben mit dem Mietwagen die Insel erkundet. Die Anlage ist ein Traum und es gibt viel zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Perfect place for our time in Oahu
We had a wondeful time when we spend six days there with our 2 kids (5 and 8). Everything is perfectly functional and well equipped. We had no trouble finding and accessing the property. The team even called us personally 2 times a few days before to check that we had received the new instructions and codes and that we had understood everything. We didn't spend much time in the resort. The location is perfect for exploring North Shore, East Coast beaches, Pearl Harbor / Manua falls / Diamonds heads or Waikiki on a day trip if you have a car.

Great place to stay!
Turtle Bay was a great place to stay on the north end of Oahu. We loved the surf at the beaches but it was also great to do some snorkeling in the protected cove right at Turtle Bay.

Beautiful condo, amazing owner!
We (2 40ish-year-old friends & my 2 teenage daughters) LOVED this place! We were looking on the North Shore (based on friends' recommendations) and would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was very nice & clean. The owner provided excellent service, answering questions immediately whenever we had one! She was so sweet. Highly recommend this place!! Thank you so much.

Beautiful Location 🏝
Last stop of 4 days on Hawaiian Islands. Very beautiful resort in beautiful location that condo is connected with in Turtle Bay on North Shore of Oahu. Place is clean, descent kitchen... but in need of some attention to details. A good freshening up would help; new better quality bed linens, more bath linens & toiletries.... & even a new couch would help....pretty wore & not so clean. Also, there is one small ac unit in corner floor of bedroom.... not very useful. Could not get dishwasher to start... or turn off for that matter. No garbage disposal & asked to take out trash everyday... which would be an overuse of plastic garbage bags. Had difficulty with getting local tv stations remote to work.... which was frustrating during the Eddie Aikau Surf Invitational happening right there at in area & being televised. And, a bit wearing to have to go all the way into town to find reality business to get keys & then drive all the way back out-to location of condo. And, same at end of stay.

Great location!
The property was as described, clean, 2 sets of snorkel gear were there for use. The pool was small, but usually empty so my son had it to himself most of the time. Close walk to the resort and beautiful beaches, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed on Turtle bay property but on the Kuilima estates West condo . Short drive to a beautiful beach plus restaurants. The pool right across the road with a charcoal grill was very nice . We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo

Nice and well equipped!
We really enjoyed our stay at Kawela Bay! It’s a beautiful property and the condo had everything you need! The A/C is a bit noisy though. For the checkin process you need to pickup the keys at the property managers office (25min drive from the condo), which is fine when you pass by there anyhow, but time wasting when you come from the other direction.

This is a very nice property. Comfortable bed, great ceiling fans in bedroom and main room, great water pressure for showers. Lots of towels! We had a maintenance issue discovered upon arrival and called and it was resolved the next morning. Access to Turtle Bay beaches and restaurants is easy and a plus! Lei Lei cafe is just a two minute walk from the back. The reason for the 4-star total is because the kitchen could be better equipped with sharper knives (and more knives for cooking) and the one ice tray was practically broken. Also, few utensils for eating (especially forks). Otherwise great so really 4.5 stars! Maholo and aloha.

This property has everything you need for a short or long stay. There are no negatives! The Wi-Fi works great, the kitchen appliances all worked perfectly, and there are ample extras in the closets to keep you comfy. The location is stunningly beautiful, and you are in the perfect spot for north shore beach access without being in one of the crowded little towns.

We found this property to be just as presented. We appreciated the fact that the unit had no mold smell. I would like to have had more cleaning supplies as we stayed 3 weeks. The cleaner needs to do a better job on floors.

Great Condo Near Turtle Bay
Loved our stay here! It was the perfect home base for exploring beaches on the north shore. Great amenities including pool and tennis courts. We loved going to the beach right by Turtle Bay which was so close to us and provided the best swimming. Condo included beach umbrella, snorkel gear, and beach mat which was so convenient! Would stay here again for sure.

Serene location
The condo was just perfect for the 4 of us. Plenty of room. Spacious and clean. Nice grass outside the patio, perfect for the kids to run around while I can still watch them from inside the house. Short walk to the beach and short drive to amenities. We would definitely be back.

Great location/ bad communication and dirty condo
Firstly we loved staying near the Turtle Bay resort, the location was great. We waited until 3pm to check in and didn’t get instructions yet. Called the property owner without an answer for about an hour, when he called back he said we had to get the keys in Haleiwa which was an hour drive at 4:30pm, we didn’t check in until 6:30pm which ruined our night. There were crumbs all over the kitchen counters and hair in the bathroom sinks…also we were told there would be scuba gear and there was only Two masks and one breathing tube. Overall we enjoyed our time but wouldn’t stay in the same condo.

We loved it! Such a sweet place. We’re everyday beach people in Hawaii so we would have loved to have some beach chairs without buying some. And, for us getting the key in Haleiwa was a little inconvenient because we usually come the other way but other than that everything was great,

Could have been better…
We always stay at Turtle Bay, either at the hotel or at the condos but this condo unit was a bit dated. Washer was not working, wished there were better beach towels, needed better linens and pillows for the pull out sofa and kitchen was not quite stocked. Bathroom shower liner was filthy. This is an easy and inexpensive fix but was obviously overlooked, which is a shame because that was my takeaway. There are far more better units at Turtle Bay!

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry the washer had broken just prior to your stay. We bought a brand new washer dryer since. Previous guests used a lot of towels and linens and cleaner had to take those away due to the broken W/D and must have left an older set for your stay. We replaced all towels and linens this past winter, during covid. We also have a new shower liners. Aloha!

Fantastic vacation property
We had a great stay. The location of this condo was fantastic! We loved staying on the North Shore and exploring all the beaches. The property was a great size and has good amenities. We found the pools and grounds to be well kept. The condo itself was very comfortable. I loved the little patio off the back. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again when returning to the North Shore.

Turtle bay is a beautiful resort
The property overall was very good. The bed was comfortable and the pressure in shower was great. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and hiking nearby was awesome. Kitchen could have been stocked a little more (only had two teaspoons) and you have to bring your own Roku remote for the TV in the bedroom but other than that it was a great stay. Mahalo!

Good spot for exploring north shore
The location in Turtle Bay was nice. Ground level down a few steps to get into the unit which looked out onto the golf course. Pool and tennis very close to unit. You need to walk about ten minutes or less to get to Turtle Bay resort for the restaurants but it’s a lovely walk. The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and cooking items. Large living room dining room combined. Bedroom mattress was very soft in the middle, like a dent. The futon in living room was extremely uncomfortable for sleeping. For future guests it would be helpful to leave instructions on how to use the TVs with the various remotes. The living room could really use some table lamps and a coffee table. There is one floor lamp which I propped up higher on a chair to use as an end table instead of using the overhead light in the evening for reading. Bonus having the washer and dryer in the unit which we made use of. Drive to Laie for food trucks and Polynesian Center is less than twenty minutes or so. We did have an issue with the condo which we made property management aware of. Picking up the key for checkin after hours went extremely well. Instructions clearly laid out.I would stay here again if the beds were changed.

General experience was good. A couple of things could make it better: lamps and a chair or two for reading in living room, better lamps for reading in bedroom, and instructions for operating each of the televisions.

Turtle Bay condo
Overall, it was a good stay, but there are a few things that could be changed to make it exceptional. We would stay here again. The good things: 1. The location is great. There are plenty shopping areas near by, and things to see, and just far enough away from the Honolulu hustle and bustle. 2. The view from the patio is very nice over the golf course. 3. The “starter supply” of essentials is very generous. 4. Overall, the unit is very well appointed, and done in proper Hawaiian style. Not so good, but maybe fixable: 1. Tables and lighting: there is no coffee table, and no end tables, therefore no lamps, in the family/living room. This makes it tough to find a place to sit at which you can put your coffee cup down. And the lack of lamps makes the whole place a bit dim and dark. 2. The bath tub is very slick when wet with soapy water. And there’s no safety bar. It’s actually a little dangerous, especially for those of us in our 70s. 3. The ceiling light in the bedroom doesn’t turn on, and the fan seems to have only one speed, that being “helicopter”. 4. Hard to find the beach access. Apparently, Turtle Bay mgmt doesn’t want people finding it. As I said, the unit is very nice, and we would stay here again.

Aloha, I'm glad you had a nice stay. Thanks for the feedback, I'll work on addressing the items on your email. A couple of clarifications for future guests: The bedroom ceiling fan light can be turned on and off and the fan speed can be adjusted via a remote control available inside the bedroom. We have a map in the unit's living room showing all beaches and trails at the turtle bay resort. Most of the beaches are less than 1/2 mile walk. The only beach with a "parking lot" is the Kuilima Cove on the north side of the hotel. Mahalo!
