I pay extra for the rooftop suit but when I checked in on Sep 30, they said the suit is under construction and won’t be ready till Oct3, they feel sorry so they can give me 100 credit on spa, but if this kind of thing happened the first option shouldn’t be refund me 3 nights update fee? It’s around 300 extra and it shouldn’t be just the credit. On Oct 3, I went to check in for the rooftop suit in the morning and they said room won’t ready till 3pm, so I back there at 2:45pm, the room is ready but when I go to the room it’s not a big relationship with ocean view. I have been Cancun for 3 times, in my mind, last two times I paid extra for the ocean view and the room is directly face to the ocean, not like this I need to find which angle I can see the sea. I don’t really want to be a tricky customer but this time I have to because I paid almost 1000 CAD to update for this and I went back to the check in place. They told me that’s the only room they have and what I paid extra is for the pool view. 😅 how stupid I could be to pay 1k for a pool view. Finally I don’t have a chance to be a tricky customer because they have no other room. I asked them I have been waiting for the room from Sep 30 to Oct 3. Am I able to be first to pick a good view room or I deserve a good view room? But the same, they said we are really sorry about this, but we don’t have any room as what they always say. Sorry, but nothing they can do.
