1 Bdrm Ocean & Pool view with Large Lanai & AC in the heart of Kailua Kona

This condo's spaciousness lanai looks out over the pool to the ocean. The perfect oasis for a cup of coffee in the morning and evening cocktails. Accommodations include a king size mattress in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed(not pictured) in the living room(good for one adult or 2 kids). There is also a pack and play for those with infants. The condo is tiled throughout and has a washer/dryer. The condo is conveniently located walking distance to historic downtown Kailua-Kona. Free parking. There are some beach essentials: snorkel gear, 2 folding beach chairs, coolers, sand bucket and toys. Keep in mind the beach gear gets used a lot so I definitely recommend bringing you own or renting.

It’s a good location in town and nice view but since it’s on a low floor people at the pool could look right in, It has a very small bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The floors looked ok, but once you walked on them barefoot, they were dirty. The bottoms of our feet were filthy! The bathroom was ok, but a little dirty too. Also, the drapes need to be cleaned.

Amenities were pretty good, towels, a little worn, there were beach chairs lots of snorkel gear ( we had our own) nicely stocked kitchen. Nice lanai nothing special just basic table and chairs. Bed was good. Great location, we were with 3 other couples so we could go as we pleased for shopping or dining. Pool was small but relaxing, hot tub too.

This is a decent condo but there are things that could be improved on. The good: location, it’s a very short walk to restaurants & shopping and the little pier is only 1/2 mile. The complex property is steps from the ocean, with a little sand beach just next to the condos. The pool is great also, complex parking is easy & plenty of it & there is a nice view, only partial from the balcony. The owner, Erica, is very responsive. There was a little issue when we were there & she addressed it quickly. Other pros: there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash, beach umbrellas & snorkel equipment. The kitchen was nice, y Ok so what can be improved on or the cons…the condo needs a deep cleaning. It could use updating as other reviews have said but that isn’t something I usually focus on. A place can still be clean even it’s it not shiny and new. Yes, rust can develop on little spots at a condo on the ocean in a humid climate, but layers of dust and stains on the curtains of the sliding door and having the curtain sort of torn off or broke of part of the curtain rod isn’t great regardless of how updated a place is. There was only one dishwasher pod left in a large box, sugar or sugar substitute but yet coffee and filters. the condo is set back in a corner sort of and very close to the pool and a little BBQ area where residents got together every evening for an hour or more. So we heard them easily.

Great location in Kona, great location in the complex: literally just steps from covered parking and the gate to the pool/hot tub/barbecue area. Nice landscaping, nice view, quiet after 10 pm. Short drive into downtown Kailua-Kona...

Everything was wonderful, I really enjoyed the pool out of the other place we stayed. The only thing was it was a little loud at night. Nobody’s fault. Excellent place to stay host was awesome easy to work with. Loved it!

Wir haben uns leider sehr unwohl in der Wohnung gefühlt. Die Möbel sind alle sehr abgewohnt, die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig und es krabbeln Kakerlaken und andere kleine Tierchen durch die Gegend. Auf Ansprache an die Vermieterin hieß es nur kurz und knapp, das sei normal bei dem Klima und wir sollen unsere Koffer schließen sowie keine Lebensmittel oder Verpackungen liegen lassen. Das war mit Abstand unsere teuerste und gleichzeitig schlechteste Unterkunft auf Hawaii!Das Aussengelände, der Pool und die Aussicht sind gut.

It was a nice little place. Convenient walking distance to downtown. It was nice sitting out on the Lanai and having dinner there. The place was available earlier than expected and I was notified that we could arrive earlier. I posted a picture of us on the Lanai and the view.

Renters BEWARE!

We stayed in this condo the end of February. We have never had a bad experience in a VRBO before, but this one was terrible! The condo has never been kept up. It had:peeling paint on all the woodworkdirty woodworkholes in walls where art work had previously beenhad to clean the washing machine before using. It was filthy.the oven was so dirty we couldn't use it. It would have set off the smoke detectorThe refrigerator was not clean and is rusted, inside and outNeeds a total paint jobNeeds new flooringI contacted the owner when we got back and sent her pictures. She refunded the cleaning fee, but said since we didn't call her while we were there that was all she could do. There was nothing that could have been done while we were staying there. It needs a complete overhaul! Wish there was a way to submit pictures to this review.

We had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and considerate. Easy check in and check out. Great location to walk around town and small beaches, whale watching, nice pool and hot tub. The BBQ area is great too!

Ocean view and centrally located

Nice apartment with a view of the pool and the ocean. Apartment was clean and comfortable. We didn’t need to utilize the kitchen, but it appeared to be appropriately stocked. The lanai is pleasant place to sit and relax the apartment is very convenient to walking into Kona and exploring the island.
