Location was good. View was 10 stars, outstanding. We saw tropical fish, a sea turtle, and many surfers from our lanai. This is just a condo, not a resort, so the outside area is ok, but not as pretty as a resort, but we knew what we were renting, so it didn’t matter to us. Condo was clean, kitchen was well equipped, bath and walk-in shower was very nice. Beds and sleeping area were comfortable. Our only complaint was that the furniture in the dining area and den was very worn, dated and uncomfortable. If this furniture was updated, I could give this a 5 star rating. If the furniture was replaced, I would consider staying here on future visits.

Amazing!

A beautiful ocean view. Whether sleeping at night or even during the day- we loved to hear the ocean and sunsets were stunning! A few issues when we first arrived- but property management was prompt and attentive and fixed everything within 2 days. Would love to stay here again.

Clean and beautiful property

Happy to have stayed here. The property manager was very communicative and accommodating. Sliding room divider is slightly difficult to open and closed. View was beautiful however the patio is in the smaller side so cannot lounge on the patio and there is no night lights and so cannot read on the patio at night. Overall we would book again.

Home away from home

Great property with phenomenal view of the ocean! Excellent location not too close to the main Kailua Kona town. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, beaches. Cool little public beach right next to the property. Not a resort-type atmosphere - quiet. Condo was equipped with everything we needed and was clean. Management communicated very well. So glad we chose this location!

Location Location Location

Unit (403C) at the Banyan Tree was everything we hoped for. You cannot get any closer to the ocean and having a small stretch of sandy beach next door and a pool/hot tub was especially nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. There is one dedicated parking spot available should you have a rental car. It’s far enough away from the hustle & bustle of the touristy shops but still within walking distance to food and markets. TIP: If you’re looking to adjust the TV volume, it’s on the side of the ROKU remote. My only complaint is the floors need a good scrubbing but otherwise the unit was clean & comfortable. Favorite Find: a good working blender to make fresh piña coladas. Beach chair, snorkel equip, floats, boogie boards, beach towels and printer are stored in guest BR. Thanks for the memories…

Breathtaking views

We were thrilled when this condo the second we walked in the door and made it to the lanai. They truly are million dollar views. The condo is beautifully furnished and we loved having the bedroom located so close to the lanai. The property itself is older, but the condo has been remodeled. We oftentimes had the pool to ourselves which was also nice. Checkin and checkout was easy. The elevator was broken one day, but I called the property manager and it was fixed the following morning. We would highly recommend this condo and plan on a return visit within the next few years.

The location is great, the condo has everything you need, but is need. The living room furniture is old and uncomfortable. The master bed is comfortable. All bedding and towels are old and need replacing. The unit is great, just needs some money put into it. I’d stay again, even if they didn’t spend a dime.

Great ocean views

Nice 4th floor unit in a somewhat outdated building. This unit was very quiet even though it was on a main road. . The furnishings were clean and the bed was comfortable. Beach towels were provided. Kitchen items were adequate including a slow coooker. The level of cleanliness could be upped a notch or two. Some of the light switches did not work. One stove burner was not operational. The door closed hard. There was some food object on the kitchen backsplash (spaghetti sauce?), food on light switches, tooth paste on the bathroom backsplash and the grout is extremely dirty. The balcony is very narrow and not a great fit for 2 people. Overall, a nice unit that could benefit from a DEEP cleaning. Go for the view. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful property with an amazing view!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The King size beds were perfect, the kitchen was well stocked and the ACs made the stay really comfortable. The view from the property is soo beautiful! We could see a variety of tropical fish swimming in the water and turtles right from our lanai. The location is great, close to beaches and a lot of nice eating places. We hope to be back at this place in the future!

Location was excellent. Overall very good. One of the sliding doors is difficult to move. And even though it is advertised as having air conditioning, the A/C is poor at best; and is nearly worthless in the large bedroom.

Perfect Get-away and surf spot

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was roomy and had everything we needed. We especially loved that the Banyan Surf spot was right out side our deck. An easy walk down to surf (coral and lava rock a little tough on the feet) and easy to watch each other from the deck. Our four year old also loved exploring in the water and lava rocks. Beautiful white sand beaches were an easy drive away and all the shopping we needed was close by. Thanks for a great stay!

Great condo

Check-in was easy, condo just as described. Loved the location. Very quiet when we were there. Biggest drawback-the AC never got ‘cold’ but it was tolerable, and the patio was pretty warm in the PM with the AC unit blowing hot air. So we made good use of the 2nd floor lanai! Pool was great, grounds kept tidy. Would recommend this to anyone!

Stunning view!

The check in process was a bit like an escape room you are trying to get into. The condo is pretty! A few improvements needed as it’s a very expensive condo to rent. Paying top dollar, you expect a little more. There is zero pantry space to keep any food you may buy. They only provided salt and pepper, the stove had one working burner and it was hot all night. The pots and pans are mostly warped. Something about the way the unit faced gave very little breeze off the ocean and the tile balcony was boiling! The air units were a little help. We were there NYE-Jan 7. No keypad for the door meant keeping track of physical keys. We got locked out and they quickly helped us! Bring your own coffee filters and shampoo etc. Now the good stuff! The view, whales and turtles outside the window! Dolphins going by and a lot of surfers to entertain you while inside! Our family was in another unit that was very well appointed! All in all for the cost, it needs some improvement.

Great location

This unit had every thing we needed. Right on the water to hear the waves, washer and dryer to limit the clothes we needed to bring, close to town, and spacious enough for the four of us.
