Kona Reef Unit A24 is a beautifully appointed one-bedroom, one-bathroom oceanfront condo nestled in the heart of Historic Kailua Village. Step into the unit and let the soothing sound of the ocean wash away all your worries and the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Features a split AC system, ensuring a comfortable living and sleeping experience in both the living area and bedroom. Sliding glass door is coated with a UV film to shield against the afternoon sun's heat. Living room has a new sleeper sofa, providing extra comfort for guests.

Unit A24 also comes complete with beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler for our guests' convenience. While some snorkel gear may be left behind by previous guests, please note that we do not provide snorkel equipment. Non-fitting snorkel gear can ruin the fun of snorkeling, so it's best to rent your own equipment during your stay.
Kona Reef Resort is an oceanfront condominium complex located next to the beautiful sandy beach and a popular surf spot called Honl's. This beautifully landscaped property offers unobstructed ocean views. Enjoy watching surf activities at Honl's Beach, humpback whale watching during the winter months, and spinner dolphin sightings throughout the year. However, during the winter months in Hawaii, we encounter significant swells and strong winds from the water. Consequently, your view may be obstructed by saltwater that dries onto the glass. Additionally, during high swells, strong winds, or rain, sitting on the lanai may become uncomfortable. Please carefully consider these factors when making your booking. We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was updated, clean and very comfortable. It was walking distance to Kona shops and restaurants. After a day of exploring the island or visiting a beach it was nice to come back to. The beach chairs and umbrella, cooler and snorkel gear were also very much appreciated. We also enjoyed the pool and cooking area although the grills could be updated. They didn’t always heat up. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the waves, surfers and of course the beautiful sunsets.

Fabulous condo

This condo was awesome!The location was great and walkable to downtown Kona. The condo itself was right on the water and was great for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets.The condo had all the essentials including a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of beach supplies. (chairs, towels, coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards)All in all, a great experience!

Great unit in Kona Reef

We have stayed in several different units in the Kona Reef over the past few years. This unit was the cleanest unit we have ever checked into. The remodel that was done was very nice and the unit was decorated very nicely. All of the furniture was comfortable including the bed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing and serving our meals. We had an issue with the refrigerator not working and called the after hours number around 9:30 at night. The person who took the message was very helpful and said they would leave a message for the property manager. At 6:00 am I had a text from Tracy at Kona Beach asking when she could come over to measure the area to replace the refrigerator. By 2:30 that afternoon we had a new refrigerator. Things happen and appliances break but this was handled excellent. The only issue we really had was when we booked the unit we were not informed there was a remodel taking place in the unit next door. Consequently there was construction noise during the day. This is something that should have been noted on the rental site

Amazing Ocean View

We had a wonderful time and loved this place! Stunning ocean view from the private lanai, pictures don't do it justice! Great for sunsets too. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked with lots of amenities. Great location on Ali'l Drive with easy parking and close enough to walk to dinner and shopping in town. We will be back!

Great view, but aging complex

The condo itself was clean, well stocked and a perfect view from the balcony. The complex that the condo was located in was somewhat grungy though. Several condos seemed to be undergoing restoration repairs, such as the one next to our unit. Had more of an old apt building vibe than a tropical resort feel.

Fantastic! Wonderful!

I highly recommend this wonderful condo for a trip to Kona. Extremely well stocked, clean, and very easy check-in / check-out process. The view is amazing and we especially loved the sunsets. Very quiet and private. Took advantage of all of the great beach equipment- towels, chairs, umbrella, and snorkel equipment. Thank you for a lovely stay. We felt very welcomed by all of the attention to detail. We would love to come back!
