For any who wish to be close (walking distance) to all the restaurants and sights of Ali'i Drive, this could be for you. One of my favorites, Kai, is right across the street. The Lanai was wonderful place to rest and relax.
The unit itself was very good for cooking, the best induction stove setup I've ever encountered. And huge refrigerator.
Drawbacks (places for improvement):
The Murphy bed was very difficult to raise and lower, and one leg of it was not fully attached, so once I got it down, I kept it down.
The beautiful overhead fan screeched when I turned it on, so I never used it.
The tops of some things (fan in particular) was covered with caked on dust. Otherwise the place was very clean.
The sliding screen door was very difficult to open. The sliding glass door was heavy and tough to move.
Final points...
I told the manager about these things, and they offered to come and correct everything, however I was just returned from a challenging several months of finishing my parents' estate. I was burned out, so I wanted no visitors. I needed solitude.
In my view these things should have been taken care of before I got there.
I am sure that these items will have been corrected by the owners after I left.
