Ditt hem på ön ligger på takvåningen / översta våningen i en triplexbyggnad - Pu'uwai O 'Kahalu'u (i hjärtat av Kahalu'u) Det finns enkel åtkomst från garaget till din enhet. Allt är nytt och orört, takfläktar hela tiden. Fullt utrustat kök och 1100 kvadratmeter plus 350 kvadratmeter i täckt lanais med utsikt över havet / stranden. Rymmer upp till 4 personer med king size-sängar och en bäddsoffa med 2 dubbla madrasser i vardagsrummet somnar till ljudet av bränningen!

Gå tvärs över gatan till Kahalu'u Beach Park - den främsta snorkel- och surfplatsen på ön. Grannskapet har flera styruthyrningsbutiker och granne med granne driver en surfskola. Snorkelutrustning finns att hyra på stranden. Ligger mindre än 1 mil bort finns affärer, restauranger, en biograf, livsmedelsbutik, apotek och Keauhou Urgent Care - förhoppningsvis inte behövs. Mindre än 2 miles till Keauhou Bay Pier, avgångsplatsen för olika aktiviteter inklusive simning med Manta Rays. Kona Country Club har öppnat mindre än en mil bort och Makalei Golf Club har en utmanande bana med vidsträckt havsutsikt, rimliga priser och ligger bara 10 mil bort.

Great location, with a beautiful view. My husband and I stayed here for 11 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The lanai was perfect, we sat out there every night we could to watch the sunset. One of the a/c’s stopped working while we were there, I contacted the host and the a/c was replaced by the next morning. We were impressed by the quick response and how they handled the situation. The location is just far enough away from downtown Kona that you don’t get the road noise and heavy traffic, but still convenient to shops and other activities. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous lanai and view!

Highly recommend not only the resort but Kona Coast rentals who are VERY organized and communicate well. Love the app and all the emails in advance as well as the house guide. We had an issue while we were there during our stay and they were fantastic.The property looks just like the pictures. We loved the kitchen/living/lanai. Fantastic view to watch surfers and peaceful waves. Watched sunset from the beach across the street but it was still gorgeous from our patio. Bathrooms and bedroom carpet are a little dated but we were happy regardless. Lots of windows and great parking. Elevator! If you snorkel you’ll live the location even more. Easy 4-mile drive to town. Or there’s a bus at the end of the driveway. We didn’t want to be right in town. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful home in a great location

This property is probably one of the most loved by my family. It is spacious, clean and well updated. Best snorkeling in Hawaii right across the street. Out favoutrite was the lanai..we lived watching sunsets from here, eating together and just spending time playing games in the afternoons. Overall a great stay! Will definitely come back!

Wires in the ocean view There was a beeping sound outside all night disturbing us Property has same address as other properties in the same area and we went to the one in front first. Family of 4 had a great stay! Love the snorkeling beach across the street!

We stayed on the 3rd floor of this rental. There are two units on the second floor. The 3rd floor has an elevator which is super helpful for transporting luggage, groceries, and snorkeling gear! Rental was very clean and well stocked with beach and snorkeling items. The two bedrooms were nice and perfect for a family of four with a 9 and 11 year old. The lanai was incredible with beautiful beach, surfing, and sunset views. The unit had all the pots, pans, and utensils you would need but there isn’t much for cooking basics other than salt and pepper. No coffee, oil, condiment, or other consumables so be sure to bring it with you. Air conditioning is hard to come by in rentals but this unit has 3. One in each bedroom and one in the living area. The living area unit is t up to the task to cool the area so we left it off. It is also on the same breaker as the TV, internet, and bathroom lights which is only 15Amps so it would pop the breaker. The bedroom ACs will cool the rooms down if the doors are closed and the fans are off. The ceilings are open, so you don’t want the fans to pull in hot air from the rest of the house. Just let the cooler air settle with the doors closed. The “den” bedroom cools down the best. We only used the AC at night, the rest of the time we just opened all the doors and windows. The upper windows can be opened with a metal pole with a hook on it that is in one of the closets. This will let plenty of air flow. We would definitely stay again!

Super view and very comfortable

This property had everything you could need in a Hawaiian vacation home. Beds were super comfortable, the deck (lanai) was spectacular. The breeze and fans in every room made it so comfortable, we never needed to use the air conditioning.

Seaside retreat

My wife and I enjoyed this unit so much. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed to cook. The location can’t be beat as you have a gorgeous view of the ocean and can watch the surfers all day. The deck facing the ocean is large and it’s a 2 minute walk across the way to sit at the beach or snorkel. We recommend this unit as an excellent location. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great location and the pictures don't do the property justice!

My wife and I visited the Big Island as part of our 30th wedding anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed our home for our stay on the Big Island. This location offered everything we needed and was conveniently located to both grocery stores and restaurants. If we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Fantastic Penthouse - Fantastic location

The penthouse is the entire top floor, with an elevator, and outdoor shower for rinsing snorkel-scuba gear. Early morning views and sunset views of Kahaluu Beach from the very large lanai were the best. Penthouse has everything. Definitely will stay here again.

A renovated old style Hawaiian gem (with a few quirks)

We live in an old home that has had many renos done by us over decades and by previous owners. This place seems similar amazing overall but with some quirks and a small wish list of things that could easily be improved. The great: Fantastic location, and having entire top floor of the three suites in the building is expansive inside and out. With covered & (mostly) shady lanai & decks all the way round the inside space and being high up enough to have a great view of Kahalu'u Park is a dream- and having a secure and private tiny somewhat industrial elevator from the ground carport right onto the lanai is lovely (and a reminder to slow down - it is a slow ride). The lounging & dining furniture on the nearly 30 x 50 lanai is in good repair and comfy enough and where we spent all of our condo time- and being one house away from Alii drive and the surf break beyond- the road noise wasn't terrible and the surf was the perfect decibel level for relaxation and sleeping at night- and of course killer sunsets (though you'll want a newer phone with 'magic erase' function to eliminate the ubiquitous power poles and lines for that perfect sunset shot). Tons of cabinets, well equipped kitchen, and no need for AC- fans and breezes fine. But no cabinet/drawer pulls(??), and kitchen lighting is beyond poor(??) - cheap easy fixes! Lastly, roll up sunshades on lanai would make it perfect for late afternoon heat and glare- again easy and cheap fix. Kona Coast was great- place spotless!

Mostly Positive

The property is very clean and the photos are accurate. It is a beautiful space, private and well-appointed. The lanai is the outstanding feature with basically a wrap-around porch around the entire top floor with sweeping views. Beds were comfortable with good quality linens. It is a bit tricky to find at first--the directions to the place were outdated. The house in front has been painted a different color. The location is challenging to get out of because vehicles obscure the view of traffic coming from the left. One of us would have to get out of the vehicle to check to see if it was clear. As noted in other reviews, the window air conditioners really struggled to keep up with the summer heat. There are louvered windows by the ceiling and ceiling fans that can help, but it's a bit of a learning curve on how to use the remotes for them that are stationed throughout the property. Snorkeling across the street is excellent and the volunteers stationed there are helpful and informative.

Beautiful View & Quick access to beach/snorkel and surfing school

Spacious and well equipped this location was great. There are a few things that needed some repairs and they promptly replaced a broken washing machine. We were contacted the day after we arrive to make sure everything was OK and it wasn’t until day three that we realize some of the things that were needing a little TLC, such as one nonworking ceiling fan out of 8 others that were working. Internet, beach towels, and TVs were available along with a few puzzles. BBQ worked well. There’s even a small elevator to help you get to the penthouse!
