Casa#324 is a Beautifully Remodeled Top Floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominium at the Oceanfront Casa De Emdeko Condominium Development.
This special property is directly across from the elevator on the 3rd floor for ease of access.
Located in the heart of Kailua-Kona, the Casa De Emdeko complex is a spectacular development that offers owners and guests the perfect blend of Hawaiian ambiance with tropical gardens & ocean views.

True Pride of Ownership is clear to see throughout. Enjoy the spacious Lanai space which offers guests or owners seasonal sunset viewing & beautiful ocean views.
There is a full sized washer/dryer inside the unit.

The popular Cabana, BBQ's, and Lanai tables are perfect for dining gatherings with friends and making new friends from around the world. This oceanfront community is now gated as well!

*Casa will be replacing the chiller the week of 9/23/24 - 9/27/24.
Unfortunately, there will be no air conditioning at the residential or commercial buildings for five days because the chiller system will be turned off for repairs.*

The location, pools, grounds and Home were perfect for our needs. Upon arrival, the home needed a little airing out, but everything else was wonderful.Beds were comfortable, barbecues, and patio were inviting and sunsets and wave watching were amazing

Amazing Place

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The lanai was amazing. Location within the complex was unbeatable. The place itself was so well stocked (kitchen essentials, towels and comfortable accommodations). Be sure to use the grill and pool. We are sad to leave and wish we could stay longer.

Still an amazing place

This was our second stay in this unit just different time frame and it was still a lovely well appointed unit. Management was on top of any questions or concerns as usual. Getting into and on property was well communicated via email (it would be nice if this was also in the VRBO app but it wasn’t an issue). It’s just a lovely place to be. Once again I’d highly recommend!

Oceanfront at Casa de Emdeko - Excellent

Casa is a quiet, ocean-front complex.Unit 302 is comfortable and has all the things needed to have a home away from home, including a/c.The management team responded quickly to any inquiries during our stay.It was wonderful to be in a condo complex right on the ocean for the start of our time on the Big Island. It was a great location for stores and services in Kona, and for easy access to beaches south on the island. The complex has two nice pools, a sandy beach and a great area for gathering near the barbeques and watching the sunsets. Amazing sunsets! Great bird-watching in the gardens.For future trips, we would likely choose to stay here longer. It was a pleasure.

Sept. 2024 Kona visit

We are big fans of Casa de Emdeko and have stayed there 15-20 times over the past many years. We chose this unit this time because it is near the elevator with no stairs required for access. My husband uses a w/c for distance but can walk a short distance. It was a lovely unit and worked well for us. We hope to return.

Relaxing and comfortable oceanside condo

Clean, comfortable, and relaxing condo with a beautiful ocean view. Coffee on the lanai each morning while looking out over the ocean was one of the best parts of the trip. The bathroom was updated nicely; the kitchen was updated and stocked with all the right cooking and dining utensils; the A/C worked great; and parking was secure and easy. The beach supplies (beach towels, cooler, etc) were a nice bonus. Overall a great condo and we look forward to returning.

Perfect Kona

We had an amazing time at this picture perfect condo. The 2 pools were great to cool off in after a morning or day adventure. We had all we needed for our 4 night stay - kitchen well stocked, beach towels, beach chair, kick boards and snorkeling equipment available. The slider opens up to a nice view of the ocean - which my husband enjoyed every morning with his coffee. Would definitely rent again! Thank you for a great stay.

Anniversary vacation

This was our first time to the Big Island, & the condo was perfect for our “home” while we were on vacation. The unit itself is beautiful, with updated kitchen & nice bathroom. The bedroom was cozy & comfortable with a king size bed. We also enjoyed the lanai for breakfast in the mornings (listening to all the birds was nice!) & the pools, BBQ pavilion & beach area were great for days we wanted to just hang out. What we didn’t like: there is a lot of construction going on with the condominium building (not the unit itself!) & there were 3 separate days where the water was shut off for an extended period of time, & one day where the property manager (Knutsen Property Management) had to move us to another condo for a night due to construction in front of the condo we rented making entrance to our unit impossible! While we understand they have no control over construction, it was a HUGE inconvenience & not a hassle that we wanted to deal with while on vacation. It would’ve been nice to be advised of the construction going on ahead of time & given the option to either book another property or the chance to cancel our reservations & look elsewhere to stay. The communication from Knutsen was not great. It would’ve been nice to hear from them regarding the construction & not so many calls asking us if we’d be interested in viewing properties they manage that are for sale!

Perfect combo of location and amenities

Clean, centrally located property with nice view and great amenities. After beach hopping and goong on excursions it eas nice to come back and relax here. Washer/dryer, coffe maker and fridge were all used extensively. We would happily stay here again.
