“We had two nights at this lodge everything was beyond our expectations. Authentic Nubian food, excellent coffee, mint tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, wonderful & relaxing boat rides, nice staff. We had a wonder visit to Abu Simbel, the car & driver was organized by lodge, the price was reasonable.

“If there was a 10 star rating I could select I would. The hotel is beautiful right on the Nile. The Nubian architecture and ambiance is stunning. Karim and is whole team gave my wife and I one the best experiences we’ve ever had. From arranging taxis, boat rides as well as providing us with recommendations for Egyptologists They truly made us feel at home and like family. The chef came and introduced himself our first out of our four night stay. He accommodated our Vegetarian diets superbly....

Vi bokade en "Suite" och man vet hur det ska se ut. Följande saker hände under en 3 dagars vistelse:
1- Ifrån badkarskranen rann det ner lera i vattnet. Vattnet var alltså brunt i båda badrummen.(se bilden)
2- Ingen Wífi på rummet. IStället så drog man en sladd genom hela våningens gång och upp i taket utan för rummet och ner ifrån taket till skrivbordet men inget trådlöst (se bilden)
3- Inget värme, istället fick man en dammig oljeelement (se bilden)
4- Alla fönster släppte in...

Only pain point - there was no WiFi, as their internet reception was being affected by wind. Need to invest in better infrastructure for connectivity services.
But everything else was wonderful.”
“Hotel is located really far from the city. Taxis are not finding location. It is on the middle of a slum very unsafe.
Restaurants are none existing and you have to eat on the hotel which is super expensive and have only 2 options to choose. Kebab or spaghetti ”

“I've been to many 5 stars hotel in my life but this hotel is not a 5 stars it is a 6 STARS!!!! Probably one of the best hotel experiences of my life. You really feel special in this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is happy around you. I have no words to describe this hotel. It is literally an Oasis in the middle of the dessert!”
“Great location and amazing room with great and helpful staff. It can be a little difficult to find the entrance door but everybody on the island is very helpful. The little ferry runs every 10mins for only 10£.
