âWe had two nights at this lodge everything was beyond our expectations. Authentic Nubian food, excellent coffee, mint tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, wonderful & relaxing boat rides, nice staff. We had a wonder visit to Abu Simbel, the car & driver was organized by lodge, the price was reasonable.
It was very pleasant two days in Aswan. â
âThis was such a cute stay! I stayed for 2 nights and it felt so quaint and charming, made me feel like I was in Greece! I was nervous about figuring out how to get to the hotel on the island, but the hotel staff was kind enough to arrange a ride and water taxi for me. The spa services were also excellent! Was so relaxing and I highly recommend. The food was also delicious. The staff are so attentive to you, and treat you like royalty! â
âVilla Misk must have the best view in Assuan! The Light show of Temple of Philae is visible from the balcony. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Easy to find by car.â
âWow!! An incredible find- book now!! The staff is incredible & hospitality always with a joy filled smile. Incredibly well decorated with amazing combination of Nubian & Greek influence. Actually met the designer, she works at the hotel & I praised her on the decor!! Food was good, large portions & fresh. Walked the village with bright colored homes, market shops & camels. Bed were comfortable. Views spectacular!!â
âGreat location in Aswan close to the Nile and the barrage. We loved the amazing views on the Nile from the rooftop. Staff is very very gentle and accomodating. We had a big suite at the 1st store for us 5 with plenty of room. We will sure get back there if coming back to Aswan!! 10 min by car to philae's templeâ
âIf there was a 10 star rating I could select I would. The hotel is beautiful right on the Nile. The Nubian architecture and ambiance is stunning. Karim and is whole team gave my wife and I one the best experiences weâve ever had. From arranging taxis, boat rides as well as providing us with recommendations for Egyptologists They truly made us feel at home and like family. The chef came and introduced himself our first out of our four night stay. He accommodated our Vegetarian diets superbly....
âAmazing staff, the property manager was extremely helpful and helped me work out a way for my pickup driver to find the location. They are right next to Philae Marina and provides a convenient way to start your day going to the island. I highly recommend this location. â
âBeatiful and aesthetic location. Great view of the river Nile and city of Aswan. The staff is super freiendly and helpful. Wonderful experience. Great location to take instagrammable pictures and videos.
Only pain point - there was no WiFi, as their internet reception was being affected by wind. Need to invest in better infrastructure for connectivity services.
But everything else was wonderful.â

Vi bokade en "Suite" och man vet hur det ska se ut. Följande saker hÀnde under en 3 dagars vistelse:
1- IfrÄn badkarskranen rann det ner lera i vattnet. Vattnet var alltsÄ brunt i bÄda badrummen.(se bilden)
2- Ingen WĂfi pĂ„ rummet. IStĂ€llet sĂ„ drog man en sladd genom hela vĂ„ningens gĂ„ng och upp i taket utan för rummet och ner ifrĂ„n taket till skrivbordet men inget trĂ„dlöst (se bilden)
3- Inget vÀrme, istÀllet fick man en dammig oljeelement (se bilden)
4- Alla fönster slÀppte in...
âI've been to many 5 stars hotel in my life but this hotel is not a 5 stars it is a 6 STARS!!!! Probably one of the best hotel experiences of my life. You really feel special in this place. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is happy around you. I have no words to describe this hotel. It is literally an Oasis in the middle of the dessert!â
âIt is supposed to be the best hotel in Aswan and the hotel is OK, but not ordinary Mövenpick standard. The food was OK and the room was OK, but nothing extra. It is not very clean, but I have seen much worse in Egypt.. The most disturbing was the sound at 5 a.m. from the Mosque. The hotel should have sound proof windows.â

The food was delicious, and on one occasion when I had a tour at 5 am, they kindly prepared a lovely breakfast basket for me to take along.
