“The whole stay was a uniqe experience of Japan. The hotel in not brand new but the personel made this journey unforgettable. Exiting sleeping and sitting on the floor in our room. The dinner and breakfast felt like presents. Especially the breakfast looked so beautiful, a new years breakfast. I am sorry we didn't have time for a walk to the shrines. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but they have a shuttlebus and are very helpful to fetch you up and drive you to a station in the morning.”

“The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.”
