“The hotel is a little older, it looks like it is slowly being updated. The mattresses are very old, springs coming out on the corners and very soft, the carpeting looked relatively new. The breakfast was plentiful. If the mattresses were replaced I'd give it a higher rating.”

“The staff did their best, but the condition of the furnishings and carpet etc needs to be addressed. Our key cards didn’t work on multiple occasions; many others in the hotel had the same problem. The rooms are gloomy and dark. The dresser in the room had drawers that kept sliding open. The sofa in the room was stained and worn; we were afraid to sit on it. Some of our party wanted to use the pool. There were no pool towels. The hot tub water was green and needed to be cleaned.”

“Staff was very nice at check in. The elevator was not working which was rather inconvenient - they could not accommodate me with a first floor room but did switch to a second floor room. Room was small but cozy. Linens were fresh and clean - bathroom was also very clean. Was a good room at a kinda expensive rate but all hotels on the Kansas City metropolitan area have raised their rates due to the impending FIFA World Cup games.”

“We stayed in a handicap room. Accommodations were perfect. Clean room. Plenty of room in the bathroom.”

“property was unkempt. room was in poor condition. fire alarm went off. don't know why. electricity went out for 45 minutes. bed frame was sticking out and was covered up by bed skirt and it caused a bruise on by ankle. tub had fixture that wasn't completely on. soap scumb on bathtub.”

“The property was as expected. We weren't staying at a high end luxury hotel and we didn't expect that type of experience. It would have been nice to have breakfast included and to have hangers in the closet. But other than that is was fine. It was clean and quiet. Great for an overnight stay after a great concert!!!!”
