“TABI Ueno was the perfect long stay hotel for our 2-week stay in Tokyo. Our room was clean and the staff was very accommodating with cleaning service and providing the basic amenities. The location was a 5-min walk to Ueno station and made getting around very easy. If you are looking for a place that us convenient to transport, has a washer/dryer in the room, and good value for the money then I highly recommend TABI Ueno!”

We called the host to ask if in the event of an emergency we could stay an extra night (and pay for it). The host told us because our room was already booked by another group that we would have to switch rooms - we were fine with that. The place had an odor and communication was difficult with a few of the front desk guests. The beds are small and not that comfortable. There is a main control for the AC which they wanted to set at an unusually high temperature; it would also switch down/off at night.
