Birthday Celebration

This was my 2nd visit and stay at Kapaa Shores. The location is the best and a great value for the dollar. I hope to be back every year to celebrate my birthday.

Amazing stay

I love our stay here. The morning coffee with the most gorgeous sunrise. The local area has great food and the people are very pleasant. The direct walk out to the ocean here was perfect.

Amazing view, close to the ocean, close to the pool. Only negative is there is no ac in the living room, however, they did provide 2 fans that helped quite a bit, and we spent most of our time outside where there was a nice ocean breeze. The bedroom has one that worked great!

Amazing oceanfront condo!

This is an amazing place to stay! We LOVED being able to walk out to the ocean right from our patio. The pool was great, the staff was friendly, the views were spectacular! Being in Kapaa is great because it's pretty centrally located. We also liked being on the ground floor and couldn't hear our neighbors at all. The staff was very helpful with us finding a pack n play for our baby. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful location steps away from the ocean

The condo was perfect for what we needed. Clean had everything we needed cooler chairs. The view was spectacular from our room. Grounds were well maintained they had some roofing construction going on but we never heard much of anything other than the ocean! We will be back for sure.

The front desk staff were amazing when we were having transportation issues. A106, although a little dated, was still quite comfortable. The views and location were excellent.

Fantastic view

This condo was great! We had a wonderful stay here. Pros: the view was incredible and started each day outside enjoying the ocean. Location was convenient with stores and restaurants close by. Cons: needed more fans for circulation. I was aware there was no AC however, the bathroom got super hot when is use and could have benefited from more fans to move around the unit. They also had to shut our water off for an emergency but they contacted us to let us know this was happening. Would highly recommend property!

The unit was well appointed and comfortable. The owners were very thoughtful and even included a cooler and cooler frozen blocks. We loved sitting outside and watching the sunset. The guidebook in the room, was invaluable. Lots of good restaurants within walking or driving distance. We also love the beach trail along the ocean which is good for walking and biking.

11 Days in Paradise!

Although we saw that some previous reviews had mentioned that the unit was dated, that didn’t bother us at all. It’s spotless and well maintained. It is equipped with everything you need and the furniture is comfortable and in good condition. The location is perfect! We’ve been to Hawaii (Maui, Kauai, Oahu, Hawaii (the Big Island) many times. We’ve done the expensive, but beautiful, resort hotels and other condos. This is where we want to return to. Hopefully we will be back next year!

Great Vacation Property

Lots of fans, but still hard to sleep on a hot and humid night; even though the bed was great. However, it is well maintained, and the condo was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks for the use of beach chairs and cooler. Parking is free and safe and there are no other resort fees. The pool and hot tub were very nice, and we liked the BBQ area too. The best part is the location. It is only 30 steps to the waves, and the views are spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the patio just soaking it all in. This complex is also centrally located and this makes it convenient to explore the entire island. Great bike path, and easy walking to excellent food. When you add it all up, definitely 4 star and we will be back.

Great stay but a few things to know!

Overall, absolutely amazing! The view from the porch and just being able to get up, pour a cup of coffee each morning, walk 50' and being on the shore in a lounge chair to watch the sunrise over the ocean is worth every penny! The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star (if they had 4.5, I would have given an extra half star) is because I felt a bit misled by the description. While it does have AC, it is only in the bedroom and not nearly enough to cool the house. This means our 10 yo on the sofa bed had trouble sleeping due to the heat. The other thing to know is it lists washer/dryer BUT that isn't in the room but rather a $2 a load laundromat on the property. Other than those two issues, we loved it and even with those issues, we would consider staying there again and just adjusting our expectations and pack different. The wife packed assuming we would have a washer and this stressed her out and made us plan outings around loads.

Love this place!

Convenient layout, well furnished, excellent wi-fi. We couldn't ask for more than patio doors that open onto a lawn that we could walk across straight out to the ocean. (Someone else might prefer the privacy of an upper floor, since people walking by could look in at us.) We never figured out how to work the TV but not a problem since we just listened to the waves instead.
