“Unique home on a lovely plot of land. Lots of birds, plants, and geckos around the property. The home has everything you need and is a convenient launching point to explore the east side of the island. Less than an hour to Kilauea where we were lucky enough to see a fountain episode. I love quirky houses with a story, this one used to be a water tank that has been built out. Take a morning dip in the hot tub then have breakfast on the lanai. Traffic to and from Hilo can be backed up quite a bit...

“I’ll daydream about returning to this very special property for a long time. It was so unique and beautiful. Very clean, well decorated, and well taken care of. It is secluded & quiet, aside from the welcomed noises of the jungle & the roosters :) the host was wonderful and responsive. The resident kitties, Nala & Torte, were so friendly and interactive. They made the stay all the more special. I would return here in a heartbeat & will forever be thankful for our stay here. ”

“The treehouse was pretty cool. It's in a quiet neighborhood a block or so from the ocean. At night the place turns into a jungle experience with all the sounds you might expect (frogs, birds, etc). The grounds is beautiful and the place is very unique. It reminded me of our Northwoods cabin but with all the luxuries of a modern home (ac, Internet, huge shower, nice kitchen). The only things I didn't like were the gate, which they ask you to close and lock. It was just kind of a pain. The water...
