“Pros: I liked the location. There was easy access to Puna, Volcano NP, and Hilo. The owner gave me a 5 minute spiel on the property. Everything was in working order. Cons: I stayed at 4 different VRBO properties during my stay on the Big Island. All property owners except this one provided directions, check in instructions and check out instructions. You won't get that. And the directions are not intuitive at all. So I will do the property owner's job for him and hopefully save you frustration...

“I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. ”

“This is a gem of an Inn with the beach minutes away, so close that you can hear the waves! The property was clean and we had a balcony to sip our coffees in the morning. The location is excellent with the Hilo airport only about 30 minutes away and volcanos national park about 45 minutes. Andy was a great communicative host who gave us awesome recommendations of local places to see.”

“Family had a great time staying at Tony and Samira's Farm. They were super friendly and communicative. Kids loved the farm atmosphere with chickens, sheep, goats, and lots of lizards.They were so thoughtful as to notify us of the volcano eruption happening and we were lucky enough to catch this event!”

“The house is clean.Check in & out was efficient. Holi was excellent. The only con really was that we thought we rented the whole house, its actually a cluster of 3 guest houses. Were on the 2 bedroom. But it felt like a hotel due to the fact that theres other guests in the adjacent part of the house.”

“The treehouse was pretty cool. It's in a quiet neighborhood a block or so from the ocean. At night the place turns into a jungle experience with all the sounds you might expect (frogs, birds, etc). The grounds is beautiful and the place is very unique. It reminded me of our Northwoods cabin but with all the luxuries of a modern home (ac, Internet, huge shower, nice kitchen). The only things I didn't like were the gate, which they ask you to close and lock. It was just kind of a pain. The water...

"Ambitionen att vara ett hÄllbart boende Àr god, men det kan inte vara lÀtt nÀr till exempel Ätervinning knappt existerar pÄ ön. Men ett gemytligt hotell med trevlig personal. Rummet som lÄg intill poolomrÄdet var ganska litet och mörkt, men eftersom det fanns flera olika platser med stolar/fÄtöljer och bord gjorde det inte sÄ mycket. Dessutom var rummet förhÄllandevis svalt och sÀngarna var bekvÀma. Det finns inte jÀttemÄnga restauranger pÄ gÄngavstÄnd. Att promenera till centrum tar sin lilla tid och Àr en trÄkig vÀg (gÄ inte lÀngs havet, ett staket gör det omöjligt att ta sig över till affÀrer och restauranger). Hotellet ligger perfekt om man vill ta sig nationalparken med vulkanerna. Det tar 40-45 minuter att köra dit och om man ger sig ivÀg nÄgorlunda tidigt hinner man fÄ en p-plats Àven vid de mindre parkeringarna innan kaoset drar igÄng."
