“Everything was perfect! Met by the owner who explained all we needed to know about the cottage. Maps provided for walks in the area and we could hike straight from the door to the amazing Cumbrian countryside. Idyllic is the word for this lovely cosy home. ”

“The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. It’s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. We’d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived. We had to park in a town centre car park and buy a 3 day ticket. Although the property was well equipped especially with books! (The reading corner is amazing), we...

“Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended..”
