“Our family had Christmas at Lansdowne Manor, a beautiful home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The Manor made us feel like royalty. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our group ranged in age from 5 to 88. Although there is a formal dining room, the kitchen and the living room were where we usually gathered. Upstairs had several bedrooms that could accommodate differing sets of guests. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable. The libraries at the Manor are extensive and engaging....

“We had a terrific family weekend at this lovely, historic home. The house was perfect for our extended family with multiple adult couples, an 11 month old baby, and two dogs. The property is VERY child friendly with a crib, high chair, and lovely library of children's books, and the pool area was perfect for lazy afternoons. Kitchen is well stocked and very functional, and the house is a short drive to Chestertown and lots of great local seafood. Would strongly recommend.”
