“Stay was excellent. Person at check in was a little less than welcoming. She said she had never heard of Expedia VIP perks, and was definitely not interested in finding out anything about it. Rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Property is beautiful, loved the location! Ate lunch in the rooftop restaurant, very good. We have been to Charleston many, many times. This was our 1st stay at The Restoration. We will definitely come back. ”

“One of the oldest hotels in Charleston in need of some refreshments. We booked a suite and it was quite allright but but no minibar, stains on every furniture (which is fine, you can’t replace them every time) but also a big stain on the duvet cover on the bed. Got to be something that can be cleaned or replaced. But ours was there for all four nights. The restuarant is great! Especially for dinner. Breakfast is not worth having, go somewhere else on the street. ”
