“We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.”

“The studio is about a 25 minute walk from the train station—easily walkable if you have one rolling bag. Otherwise, cab is convenient and under 10 pounds. Excellent communication re: self check-in. Our unit was atop 20 steps and an ‘attic’ unit with short ceilings on one half, which was a bit of a challenge for us at over 6’ tall. We managed fine, however. “Vi trivdes mycket bra i Studio Iris på Folly bridge. Det ligger centralt i Oxford, vi bodde på översta våningen, med en vacker utsikt över Themsen/Isis och den lilla trädgården. Rummet var inte stort, men fräscht och praktiskt inrett med bra garderober och en kokvrå som var lätt att använda. Vi är lite kritiska till att anvisningarna för städning var oklara när vi skulle lämna vårt rum. “Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

“The Breeze room that I stayed is on the ground floor. The door lock had some issues in the first day that it couldn’t be opened or closed properly. Then later in the first day it couldn’t open at all. “Luckily”, the room is beside the kitchen which has a separate door going to the backyard. Our room has a patio door that can go straight to the backyard. So we tried to get to the room through the patio door and it worked. We tried to open the room door from inside but still couldn’t work. So...

“The apartment is modern, clean and well fitted out. Handy access to the city with regular bus service and local convenience shops. Good communication with the owners regarding access we would definitely like to return.”

“My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Having two bedrooms and a big living/dining room was a plus. The location could not be beat; we were able to walk everywhere after parking our car at the nearby garage allocated to this apartment. It’s a lively street that it was on, with plenty of restaurants and bars in the area to keep us entertained and fed. Great stay overall!”
