This home is centrally located near lots of the beach accesses of Kill Devil Hills and great local dining and shopping. After your quick walk home from the beach, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower and enjoy some more sun lounging in your own private pool!

Inside, you'll find lots of space to relax and more fun amenities, including a game room with a pool table. The upper level is the perfect place to gather everyone to relax and enjoy ocean views on the deck after a long day of splashing in the waves and exploring the OBX. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare any and every meal you want during your stay, and the gas grill, extra kitchen, and wet bar make sure your family's culinary needs are covered. Easy check in. Kitchen had a large selection of pots, pans, and dishes. Very close to the ocean, sites, and stores! Nice pool and hot tub. Would have been nice to have a backyard fire pit.

Perfect for a big Family Vacation

Our family is really big so we have 10 adults and 11 kids all staying and I loved the fact that each bedroom has a bathroom and each room is set up to accommodate different needs. Like if you need room for a blow up mattress or if you want a spa tub instead. There are 4 floors so it gives everyone a little space. Loved the big kitchen with all the seating so we could all eat together. The walk to the beach was all of 2 minutes, super short and no issue walking with all of the kids. Just get out there early so you can set up a close spot on the beach. Overall, the place was amazing and we would definitely go back again! Also, the pool table, the hot tub and pool were a huge hit!

Great OBX Getaway!

Quick trip to OBX for spring break. House was great! Plenty big, views of the ocean, and a huge side yard. Conveniently located to shops/restaurants/stores.

Great family vacation

Overall the house was great. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool water was a little cold but it is later in the season. There is a great side yard where we set up multiple outside games for the kids to run and get their energy out. Close to the beach. Dishwashers or at least the racks could stand to be replaced as they are very rusted. There were some minor maintanace issues that could be addressed, TP holders one cracked toilet seat and a broken railing spindle on the upper balcony that was a concern with the little ones. We enjoyed our time thank you.

It was okay...

Unclean, non-maintained home with hole in floor, crack in pool and several safety items that need that need to be checked. Dishwashers were falling apart inside. Coffee pots did not work welListed as kid friendly, but no high chair provided. HDMI cords were missing for numerous tvs.

Best getaway ever!

Captain's Choice was the perfect location to vacation with friends and family because it catered to all ages, was in close proximity to a vast number of shops, eateries, beach, pier, groceries, National Parks, just about anything a vacationer would want and more! This vacation for my family has been long overdue as it has been 6+ years since the last Outer Banks vacation, but enjoyed this trip even more because we were able to share our experience with friends and are looking forward to making this an annual event. For future vacationers of the Captain's Choice, if you are interested in the pool for the children, I suggest you make sure with management that the pool is able to be used. That was the only thing that was not properly ready when we arrived, but our children swam in it a few days later. Overall, this was the perfect house for 7 adults and 9 children. I was even able to have my grandchildren come down to see us for an extra adult and 2 more children with room to spare. There is plenty of space on four levels, and 24 seats for dining in on the 3rd level. The first level provides a variety of games such as a pool table. Decks look out to the ocean and can see amazing sunrises. The fourth floor offers a loft with multiple windows and rocking chairs for viewing the Wright Brother Memorial, and other amazing sites. This vacation property was a blessing for me. Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to find the perfect vacation home.
