Stora gamla skolan strandstuga i vackra Kill Devil Hills. Den här är inte din typiska strandbox hem. Det har karaktären av de fina husen som byggdes på de yttre bankerna för år sedan. Knutiga tallväggar, golv och tak är helt hisnande. Detta hem ligger nära milepost 10 som är nästan mitt i det yttre bankområdet havsområde. Detta område kan också kallas OBX (yttre banker). Du är nära ALLT. 5 minuters promenad till stranden (tvärs över gatan). 5 minuter till Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Wright Brothers Memorial. En fantastisk dagstur skulle vara att köra ner på stranden och verkligen se det bästa som de yttre bankerna har att erbjuda. Kort bilresa genom områdena Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo och Hatteras tar dig till färjan och en 30 minuters resa till Ocracoke. Detta skulle verkligen vara ett otroligt dagstur-äventyr.

Hemmet har 3 fulla sovrum (2 är extremt stora), 1 kingsize-säng, 2 drottningar, 1 våningssäng med 3 sovplatser och en utdragbar soffa. 2 fulla bad och och över stora utomhusdusch också. Nytt sängkläder 2009. Husdjursvänliga. Icke-rökare.

Perfect Beach Getaway in Kill Devil Hills!We just returned from an amazing stay at this beautiful home and we can’t say enough good things about it! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, and we loved starting our mornings on the deck with coffee.The location was perfect! Just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops, restaurants, and attractions like the Wright Brothers Memorial. The neighborhood was quiet and family-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing helpful tips for our trip and checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. You can tell they truly care about their guests' experience.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an active beach adventure, this place is a fantastic home base. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Kitchen was good, however, both bathroom curtain liners had mildew and the upstairs bathroom ceiling had mold. For the bedrooms, the pillows were yellow and the bunkbed was so squeeky, the kids had to share the queen bed. The listing did not mention we needed to bring sheets and towels, but were notified a few weeks prior we had to bring those items. The house also had no toilet paper or hand soap. Needed to go to the store right away just to have the basics. Good if traveling on a budget and you don't have to buy sheets to fit the beds.

The location of this property is great and communication with the host is wonderful. Host even helped us with the return of property that we left behind. The check in was a bit awkward in that we received one single key in the mail(no keypad) which we had to hide outside and then mail back after our stay. The cleaners were so/so but the house is in need of a deep clean and some repairs. While the house itself is charming, the furniture is worn and needs cleaning. With a little TLC this could be an amazing property!

So lucky to snag this house!

Check in was simple, received a key and note in the mail from the homeowner who also verified we received it. We had previously stayed in hotels and were looking for something more cost effective that would accept pets. I was not sure we would find a place to rent in a short time, but so glad we did. The location is awesome, close to everything and only 1 block down and a block up to public access. The house was great, it was clean, beds are good, kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils and the homeowner Hal was attentive. Looking forward to future stays!

Bday Weekend Retreat

My wife and I along with some friends loved this home for our weekend trip. The house is in a perfect location being a short walk from multiple restaurants and the beach. This is a place we would easily stay at again. Hal the host was quick and responsive with his communication.

Cozy beach cottage in a GREAT location!!

Our family enjoyed staying in this beach cottage for our first OBX vacation. This house had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Hal, the owner was quick to respond to the few inquiries that we had. As advertised, the location of this house is excellent! Short walk to the beach, surf shops and restaurants with a great little pizza shop right at the end of the block. Our boys especially enjoyed the giant candy store within view of either of the balconies.

Ship Shape Property and Great Management Communications

I've been visiting OBX for going on 40 years and have rented a variety of properties. 204 Neptune is a great property and met our needs perfectly. First, there is walkable beach access within 2 blocks. Second, if you need to haul gear to the beach, there are plenty of free parking areas for beach access points up and down VDT road, literally dozens of options to get your gear and family to the beach. Third, multiple dining options within walking distance! This property is well stocked, it has everything you need for a great stay. The porch swing on the front deck became a favorite reading spot each evening after our time at the beach. The property is clean and FUN! Try it out, you'll want to come back next time around.
