Nice location

We enjoyed our stay - though the weather was a bit rainy there’s lots to do within 20-30 minutes of the house. The walk to the beach is a breeze but wear sandals as there are prickly little things on the path that stick in your feet. The house doesn’t have enough toilet paper or paper towels for a week stay with number of people. The rental company wraps bathroom towels and leaves a small welcome pack of trash bags/soaps/etc but we ended up buying our own so we’d have enough. There are some beach chairs and other items like buckets/toys in the front storage room not in great shape but available. You do need to bring beach towels. Overall good space, it’s run by a rental company so we had to buy things like salt/pepper/oil as well for cooking. Loved the views from deck when weather was cooperating!

Great Place

Beautiful house inside. Four couples went for the week. We chose this house because it had 4 bedrooms with king size beds with a bathroom off of, or next to each bedroom. It had an elevator and pool too each room

Wonderful Thanksgiving

Had a fabulous time here. My 85yo mother used the elevator daily and the other five members of my family had so much space. The bath in each bedroom was perfect and the king beds super comfy. The views were amazing from the living room since it was so windy we couldn’t really sit outside due to weather. Great location. Definitely bookmarking this house for future visits.

total bliss

We had a family reunion to pay respects for my wife Helen who passed away. My brother Joe (Cindy) Delaware, Ohio, my sister Mary (joe) Garrettsville, Ohio, my sister Caroline (Don) Jacksonville, Fl. & myself, Sterling,Va. The Ocean views were fantastic and the weather was perfect no rain. It was 2 weeks of great food lots of small talk and just a great mental health time.Kudos to all

Perfect location!

The house easily accommodated 5 couples, and we had an awesome week. We enjoyed sitting on the front balcony and watching the waves, and the house is just steps away from Awful Arthur's, which has a great gift shop, and the Avalon Pier.

Great location

This was a great home for our family trip. Plenty of space and comfortable rooms for everyone. Great view and easy walk/access to the beach. Close to a number of great resteraunts as well as the Wright Brothers Memorial and fun activities for the kids.

Everything promised

This property delivered more than what was expected. A beautiful home and perfect for All of our needs. To say we loved it does not go far enough. We have rented shore properties up and down the East coast. Nothing matches the overall quality of Acqua.

Exceeded our expectations!!

Kim was absolutely wonderful to work with - very responsive to our questions and a great host. Check-in was smooth and the house impeccably clean and well-equipped for our small Thanksgiving gathering, where our family of five had separate bedrooms and baths and plenty of room to spread out. The photos don't do the house justice, and the location can't be beat! Would love to return in the summer!

Beach Get-Away!

This is definitely a 5-star property from first initial contact with owner through check-out! They were very helpful, informative & provided a quick response to questions. There is just so much that you could say about this property! Each family or couple had their own bedroom & bathroom!! The property has an elevator which was very important to several and it really helped not to have to carry luggage up! The rocking chairs on the balcony provided an opportunity to watch the waves! The beach access is right across the road so a very short walk to beach, pier & places to eat! We all took advantage of the heated pool & hot-tub! Can't wait until we have an opportunity to stay there again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Great place, lovely stay!

Wonderful communication, and small issue addressed IMMEDIATELY! Very comfortable, and great view. Most places charge additionally for a heated pool, this was provided - much to everyone's enjoyment. We actually have our own place close to this house - it was rented out during the time we rented this - but we will keep it on our short list if we need to rent again. Wonderful experience!

Just right!

Perfect size for all of us, being 8 adults and 2 children. Pool decent size. Beds comfortable, great size and ensuite bathrooms made it even better. Kitchen had all necessary utensils one would need. Gas grill was great to have, also. Just across from private beach access. Pool toys, chairs and umbrellas made it easy vacation. The owner was prompt in response time. We definitely will be back and have already talked about doing same place next year. Thanks Kim and OBX for a great vacation.

Great property with top notch hosts. Kim was absolutely amazing with her communication and attention to detail. We had an incredible time and really enjoyed being just steps to the beach. Beds were very comfy as was the couch that I watched the sun come up from every morning. The technology was also "awesome" as the kids said. Wii, Xbox and Playstation along with surround sound and rechargeable controllers. We will definitely come back next time if Acqua is available.

Perfect vacation home!

Absolutely amazing. We have 7 kids 7 years of age and under. Simply walking across the 2 lane street to the beach access and over the dunes to the beach made it so easy. The pool saved the days when the jelly fish made their appearance and the elevator was a life saver when it was time to cart our groceries up to the kitchen. Everything was just perfect! We wanted fir nothing. This home has it all!

Family Vacation

The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect for the kids to go fishing on the Avalon Pier and the beach was easy to access across the street! Everyone enjoyed the rocking chairs on the top deck! Kim was readily available to assist us as needed, an excellent host!
