We enjoyed our stay at this location. The host was very responsive. We were present during construction/renovation of the hotel beside the property and that was not quiet. It was not horrible either, because work hours were not too early or too late. Supposedly the hotel will open soon, so construction should be over by late June. The property is right beside public parking for the beach, which sometimes meant we heard beachgoers while trying to sleep. This is not the fault of the property, though, but of random people visiting the beach. We enjoyed the ocean view from upstairs and were delighted that the upper porch was shaded in the early evenings. This is an older home, so it is a bit outdated, but it is comfortable and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was nice to be in a central and convenient location for our exploration of the Outer Banks.
