Welcome To 2 Points of View At Carolina Dunes By KEES Vacations!

Escape to the Outer Banks and create beautiful memories with the entire family! Located in the heart of Duck, this four-bedroom, two-and-one-half bath home is a short two-minute walk from the beach. Spend your days basking in sand or lounging by your private pool. In the evenings, relax in the spa while the jets massage your back under the stars!
Don't forget to bring your bikes. Less than two miles down the road is the town of Duck. Admire the local shops as you walk the soundfront boardwalk. When the time comes to eat. Swing into one of the well-established restaurants and delight in a scrumptious spread of local seafood or American cuisine.
On the first level of this home, easily access each bedroom. Find two spacious King bedrooms each with deck access. Both rooms are large enough for spreading out and relaxing. The Queen bedroom on this level is the perfect place to rest your head. Unwind before bed to a movie, or read your favorite book. The fourth bedroom in this home is furnished with two twin beds. This is an excellent place for the kids to reminisce about their day together. Two full bathrooms are in the hallway, each with enough space for everyone in the group to share.
Head up to the second level of this home. Make a cup of joe in the kitchen and step out onto the wrap-around porch. Admire the views from every angle while you bask in the morning sunshine. Back inside the home, plop down and relax while watching your favorite movie on the flatscreen TV. The chef of the group will delight in a well-equipped open concept kitchen. Craft a delicious meal and enjoy it in the spacious dining room!
After a long day of fun in the sun, rinse off in the outdoor shower. Swim the day away in the private pool and take turns warming up in the spa. Fire up the charcoal grill at lunchtime, then head over to the picnic area to feast on the spread. When the evening is through, make your way to the top deck (newly renovated with Trex) and witness breathtaking sunsets over the sound!

This property has 3 parking spots for guests.
**Private unheated pools will open on April 16th and close on October 1st. Hot Tubs are available year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.**
Fireplace not available for guest use.
Check-in begins at 4 pm: Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-out is at 10am.

This is long. Although the location and pool were great I was overall very dissatisfied and would not rent this house again. I'm surprised Kees allows their houses to be in such poor shape.Negatives:1) The house needs many small repairs. The sliding door to upper deck broken/falling apart), 1/2 bath faucet handle needs repair and tears on wall, under cabinet corner light in kitchen not attached/broken with exposed wires, cabinet handle broken (had to try and screw it back in myself), kitchen faucet hard to turn off and often dripped, middle deck in poor shape, had to hammer popped up nails back in ourselves so no one was injured, called Kees to remove wasps nest on same deck after wasp got in house, dryer in poor shape with rust, handle on faux bathroom cabinet coming off, French doors in master would not close due to no pin into floor, showed Kees staff, but said it wasn't a pair they could do, we didnt feel we could secure our belongings as the doors, although locked, kept opening out, only one small trashcan in one full bath for the entire 1st floorThe kitchen is very poorly equipped. There were no hotpads at all. Nothing to take items out of the oven. Silverware was very cheap and not near enough (we had to run the dishwasher every day just for the silverware). There was one super cheap cutting board. Oven pans were in very poor shape and rusted. Dishashwr has rust. Many bowls and plates had cracks and chips and again not enough to last the day.

2 Points of View property at Duck

Great location. View of Currituck Sound and ocean. Short walk to beach access. Spacious and open third story great room/kitchen with expansive decks. Kids enjoyed the onsite pool. Comfortable for our extended 3 generation family group.

2 Points of View

Bathroom shower needed no slip strips on the floor. The outdoor grill is in desperate need of replacing—-totall rusted. One set of towels per person is insufficient as is one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We had no hot water for two days while the heater had to be serviced twice with it having to finally be completely replaced. One step on the entrance stairs was dangerously separating from the base. Upper level drapes need another panel to shut out the sun. Two panels per window isn’t enough. Having a heated pool option would have been nice to have. Each room should have a wastebasket. Queen bedroom should have a TV.
