“Squires” is a three bedroom, two bath oceanside vacation home that is perfect for a small family wishing to visit the Outer Banks. Located only 215 yards from the beach access makes it easy to get to the beach without needing to drive. While close to the beach access, you are also nestled in a wooded area of Southern Shores. This gives you great privacy from the large sundeck.

Level 1:
3 bedrooms (1 with Queen, 1 with Double, 1 with Twins), 2 baths (1 with tub and shower). Living/dining/kitchen area, 1 Queen sleep sofa.

“Squires” is the perfect Outer Banks vacation rental if you are looking to relax at the beach with your family. The community of Southern Shores will offer you tennis, basketball and soccer areas. There is a children's playground as well as sound access so you can watch the incredible sunsets. Staying in Southern Shores, you will remain close to shopping, restaurants, area tours and fishing piers. Your family is sure to enjoy your time in this home and Southern Shores Realty is looking forward to planning your vacation!

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
