Sun King is a thoughtfully appointed 8-bedroom vacation rental home in the heart of the Town of Duck. Found within the renowned, ocean-to-sound community of Four Seasons, youâre sure to find everything you need for an ideal Outer Banks family vacation. The eight bedrooms include six king beds, four of which are en suites. The top-level king en suite includes a gas fireplace joining the bedroom and bathroom, setting the scene for a relaxing end-of-day bath by fire light. The remaining king bedrooms share a hall bath. Thereâs plenty of room for the whole family, with two additional bedrooms offering three sets of bunk beds. Sun King is also pet-friendly, welcoming your four-legged family members for their own beach fun!
This custom-designed vacation home includes some thoughtful features, including a captainâs watch surrounded by windows for quiet reading, playing a board game, or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. A theater room is available, complete with 75â Smart TV and cozy seating for watching your favorite family movies, shows or sporting events. All bedrooms also include large flat screen TVs, so each family member may retreat to their own spot for entertainment as needed. The kitchen is well-appointed for meal prep, with ample dining space at either the island counter barstools or one of two dining tables. A ground level rec room offers a foosball table, additional large screen TV and a kitchenette. If needed, Sun King also provides a washer and dryer for guests.
Outside, youâll find ample deck space with a variety of seating options for sunbathing or star-gazing. Relax and refresh in the 16âx32â swimming pool on warm summer days and enjoy the soothing bubbles of the hot tub on cooler days and nights. Sun King also offers a beach volleyball court for spirited family fun. Rinse off from a productive beach day in the outdoor shower.
As guests, you will have full privileges of all the amenities the community offers including a full-sized, outdoor swimming pool; a childrenâs play area; tennis courts; and a clubhouse with an indoor pool and spa, a fitness center and an activities lounge. For your convenience, you can catch the daily shuttle service right in front of the house that will take you to and from the beach!
The charming center of Duck is just a short walk from Sun King and is full of many wonderful attractions including local restaurants; coffee, ice cream, pizza, and variety shops; outdoor music venues and much more. Be sure to check out the many free and fun activities available through the Town of Duck such as outdoor concerts, exercise, and yoga classes. Not only is the Town of Duck an inviting shopping and dining destination, but it is also perfectly designed for biking and walking.

Bed linens and towels and bed making are provided year-round, however not for partial or discounted weeks.
The private pool is available from the second week of May to the second week of October.
The Four Seasons community outdoor pool is open from mid-May to early October. The indoor pool and baby pool (recreation center) are open year-round from 8:00 AM - 7:45 PM. Please note, community pool dates are subject to change.
Four Seasons is a prestigious resort community with strict covenants. No temporary structures such as a trailer, tent, shed or exposed recreational vehicle (to include boats) may be placed or kept on any home site. Please call our office for more information on the covenants, conditions and restrictions at Four Seasons.
Sun King is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.
