"Very friendly and helpful owners, check in etc happens remotely. Spotlessly clean and tidy small hotel in the train station building. Passing trains are obviously loud, but there were none between ca 2300-0700, so it didn't bother us at all, in fact it was fun to watch them pass! A short walk into the town centre with shops, restaurants and café. Free parking much appreciated too."
"We felt so unsafe that we left the place in the middle of the night and found another hotel to spend the night at. the hotel writes that there is a 24-hour reception - this is not true."

"Great location, near to a 7am-10pm supermarket. Also great with 24/7 access to guest kitchen and also coffee machine (press button with choice of coffee, hot water, hot chocolate, cafe latte etc) with take away cups!

Summertime can be a little loud at nights with street singing at nts nearby, but adds to experience. This summer (2025) was very hot and no air conditioner but wonderful staff provided a grrat fan!

"I booked a small room with a single bed, and got a lot of features for the money. I had everything I needed in the room and the most wonderful breakfast included. Being able to open the window for fresh air was so appreciated. The hotel areas are comfortable and spacious. There were bigger options available but this suited me and my budget as a solo traveller."
