“Enjoyed our one night stay here. Booked one hour private onsen and thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and waterfall scene. Also did the public onsen and enjoyed it as well. Yukata clothing and towels are provided. Excellent service and a sense of luxury even though the hotel itself is dated. Good breakfast.”

“Very comfortable stay. Special dinner each night amazing. We stayed for four nights and different dinners each night. Lots of nice little touches that made our stay more comfortable, like umbrellas in the foyer for use during the rain, and free tea, coffee and soft drink”

“We had a very nice staty. Very nice town, by coincidence we came at the same time as the big festival. We did the Crow Castle, visited the Kusama exibition, looked the children parade and the laterns in the Azusa river. Excellent day.”

“Such a lovely Ryokan, the staff were all so kind and nice. Super friendly! Explained everything so well and offered pick up from a nearby train station and drop off at local monkey park. The baths were all so different and the vibes were really good. Would definitely go again! I'd recommend everyone to go if you want to stay in the area.”

“이 정도급 료칸은 친절도는 그냥 따라온다. 다만 직원분들 영어 실력은 꽤 떨어지는데 아무래도 아직 외국 관광객이 적어서 그런듯 하다. 우리말고 한국팀은 2명 뿐이었다. 카이세키도 아주 훌륭하고 조식도 좋은 편이다. 무엇보다 온천수가 유황으로 매우 좋다. ”

The staff were amazingly attentive and helpful, provided transport for us to see the monkey park and get us back to town in time for our train back. The evening meal was absolutely incredible and such a lovely experience, and the Onsen was outstanding. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again with absolutely no hesitation.”

“This was our first time in a Ryokan! And we loved it!! We enjoyed wearing the Kimonos provided and having a multi course dinner! They were also able to provide vegetarian options for dinner as well. The onsen at the hotel was much larger and nicer than the free ones outside the hotel. There is a toilet in the room but no shower, so you have to use the public bath to shower.”

“Enjoyed overall stay. The room is great. Hot springs are awesome. Vegan options for the food could be better. Make sure to check that kids are included when receiving confirmation. We didn’t and have to pay 1/4 more and it was already expensive. I checked the price online for four of us and it was exactly as we paid while booking but the confirmation letter didn’t include kids so we have to pay anyways. Otherwise happy with stay.”

“This is a true Japanese onsen property that also caters to English speakers. While it only has Japanese rooms and food - for a person that wants a truly high end onsen experience in a smaller city - this is perfect. ”

“乾燥室、洗濯機、キッチン、ロフトなど非常に充実した設備と、リーズナブルな価格で、言う事無し！ 最高の時間を過ごせました！ 子供も大喜びでした！ 唯一言うとするなら、他の人も書いてましたが、トイレが流れなくなったり、水がでっぱなしなったりし、都度タンクを開けてチェーンを戻すのがめんどくさかった事ぐらいです。 でもまた次回も行きたいです！ ありがとうございました！”

“Really spacious cabin, clean, friendly and extremely helpful staff. We encountered minor issue during our stay but was being dealt with immediately. We really love our cabin, the mountain view is gorgeous and it comes with full kitchen amenities. ”
