“really convenient location; 7 eleven next door & laundry place a few shops down; 10 min walk to the beach; really nice design & layout for the common areas; it is on the main street though so expect the common areas to have a lot of street traffic noise which is pretty loud; rooms have a lot less street traffic noise depending on if it's right by the main street or if the rooms are farther away”

“Place could be a bit more clean Some people do not clean after themselves The 4 bedroom dorm is small and the beds a bit noisy but what a wonderful spot! On the beach with a great swimming pool. I also met very cool people even if you need to socialize yourself. ”

“I returned to Glur Hostel this year after having visited earlier, back in 2015. Glur really does everything right. The spacious beds, the breakfast, the pool and the helpful staff all make for a memorable stay. Several of the travellers I met extended their stays as they were pleased with the hostel. I recommend this hostel to anyone, travelling either solo or in a group.”

“With a short walk to either beach or shared swimming pool there aren’t much else you’d want in a resting place like koh Lanta to ask for. There was although problems with locking the bathrooms. The hostel is close to food and stores but there’s not the best roads for a long walk to different parts of the island. All in all a good experience.”

“Pretty solid place with a great staff. Nice rooftop bar with a kickass bartender. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great place to book tours or transportation.”

"We had a great time while staying at this hotel. Nice room with comfortable beds. The AC on the other hand could not cope with the high humidity which caused the floor to be all wet a lot of the time. Our clothes went damp because of this. I would have given this hotel a lower rating if it wasn't for the exceptional good service we received. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Jättetrevligt hotell, fantastisk service, bra läge nära fin strand och vi är oerhört nöjda. Betyget är 99/100, enda lilla minuset är att det var böneutrop från en moské som inte låg så långt bort några gånger om dagen. I övrigt helt fantastiskt. Allt var super! Såg kanske inte ut att vara så barnvänligt på bilderna, men var superbra för barn. "

"I loved this Hotel and the staff were absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend and visit again. Improvements: - I expected more out of the breakfast, it was ok but not more. - The “sunbed system”, people would lay their towels early in the morning on sun beds and not appear until 3 PM, so they reserved sundbeds and not using them for the whole day, ridiculous. We also got into an argument with other guests after they took or sundbeds (we were gone for approx 30 minutes because we checked out in the morning instead of 11). They were very aggressive and did not act as adults so we moved to another pool in the area. "
