“Not the greatest place to stay at in Kyoto. - The closest rail station (Fushimi) is about a 15-20 minute walk. - The hotel room is dirty. We got non-smoking and they delivered on that (no smell). But the carpet in our room had clear dirty spots and so did the ceiling. - Standard washroom amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body soap etc - Can't refuse room service it seems -Size of the room was good”

“They were really nice and helpful at the hotel. Only problem that the movie services were a little faulty and didn't always work. Also most of the movies were dubbed in japanese which was a shame. BUT It was an awesome hotel and we will probably go back when we come back to Kyoto! The service was amazing and the price was awesome considering everything you got with it.”

“Rather than a hotel this is a very homely, traditional and private single floor house located a short train journey out of the centre of Kyoto. It was perfect for us, a family of 5 who enjoyed the walk to the station and were happy to commute into Kyoto for the benefit of this lovely space. The train journey is about 10 minutes into the centre of Kyoto and some trains connected straight into the metro system which was very handy.”
