“We had a great stay at Paula's place. The location could not be beat - could hear the ocean from our open windows! And also walk to neighborhood restaurants, local market, and great coffee. Would I call it "first class accommodations"? Not exactly. Upholstered furniture is a little worn, mattresses & linens were not the most comfortable, at least one bedroom lacked a/c, etc. But it was a really good value for the money, Paula was a communicative and kind host, and I would book again.”

“This is a charming little property perfect for a San Diego getaway. Located 5+ minutes to Balboa Park Museums and the Zoo. My husband, 3 sons, ages 4-9, and myself enjoyed the quiet and convenience of the home and neighborhood. The property owner was easily available for any questions or concerns. My sons nicknamed this home the 'Jungle Fort' and cannot wait to visit again!”

“Very comfortable and well equipped, we enjoyed our 4 night stay. Quiet residential neighborhood maybe 75 yards to the beach and beautiful sunsets. Property mgr communicated promptly. Some helpful details: You cannot drive up Kennebeck, the house is the second one in from Mission so easy walk. Garage entrance in alley to the south. Hot water is good but: Kitchen sink: pull handle down/ towards you and *wait*. Master shower: lift handle all the way up and *wait*. You will get hot water. Works...
