“Nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay! Space enough for quiet times and group times, indoors and outdoors on the large 2nd floor deck and individual decks. Windows everywhere had us feeling we shared the outdoors in privacy. Hearing birds and the Cuchara River through open windows was a joy. Every bedroom is nice; there isn’t a bedroom that isn’t great. “Staff were friendly and check in/out was quick. We stayed in the dome. Nights were cool so there was a heater (air conditioner for summer). Bath houses were clean and they provided towels and mat in the dome. The lobby had pizza for dinner (Papa Murphy's and an oven to cook it in). Must be cooked by 7pm when office closes. “Craig and Judy are wonderful hosts and we could not have had a more delightful stay! Every amenity you could possibly need has been provided along with a bowl of snacks on the table. The cabin was just what we were hoping for with wonderful views that make you just want to sit and relax for hours. We enjoyed hiking around the property and using the shooting range. “Spacious house with mountain views near Great Sand Dunes National Park. The town is tiny but not terribly far from larger towns with more amenities. We really enjoyed the space to spread out and proximity to the dunes. The house had large appliances and spacious kitchen and plenty of hot water. The gas range especially was a pleasure to use. “Really lovely spot nestled in the forest, with deer, turkeys and birds regular visitors to the cabin grounds. Several spots outside to sit and enjoy, including at the creek on property. Very close to several trailheads and the local park. It's on one of the main roads but other than occasional local neighbors you won't notice it.
