“Customers service very poor apart from the housekeeping, it was fully booked at the breakfast room and very few staff to attend to customers. As a 5star hotel they need to modernize their rooms. The only thing I loved most was the beach. For me Serena in Goma is still the number one customers service/ modern hotel in Africa/Europe no matter you are female traveling alone or with family”

“It was very nice, the room was quite clean, and I didn't encounter any issues. It's a bit annoying that the air conditioners stop working as soon as you leave the room. The breakfast is a bit lacking, there's no buffet, you get a tray with food to the room. The 'dining room' was under renovation while I was there, and the pool, when I first arrived, had green water. But on the third day, they cleaned it and made it clean again.”

“When I arrived nobody was at reception or anywhere. I selected my own my room after 10 minutes of trying to find someone. Lights constantly flickered, no drinking water, no towel, no soap. Breakfast was disgusting and they only take cash payment. Which was not written anywhere.”
