“We stayed at the hotel because we had a weekend wedding in South Kingstown. Everything was great. Room was very clean, staff very friendly and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was very good too. And since we had to bring our Shih Tzu, it was also a huge plus that the hotel is pet friendly. We highly recommend the hotel if you plan to stay in the South Kingstown/Narragansett area.”

“The exercise room was below standard. Very small, with three machines. There was No exercise bench, so I had to workout on the floor. No towels available until I asked for some at the front desk. A water cooler, but no water jug in it. The weights were very old and rusty. No 5 or 10 lb, and only one 15 lb. The weight rack was very old and rust also.”

“Clean, safe, with a comfortable bed. The room was a bit shabby and in need of updating, but not objectionable. It smelled of cleaning products. The color scheme was not to my taste, but it was fine as I spent just one night.”

“When you enter the shore house it’s really dark, dingy and the front desk area is very cluttered. It’s nothing like the images on the website. The bathrooms are super tiny with the sink outside in the room. The sink is so poorly constructed that you can barely wash your face or brush your teeth without getting water all over the floor. The floors of our room was dirty and sandy. The breakfast choices are awful, the almond milk was sour, the hard boiled eggs looked like they’ve been sitting out...

“We only stopped for the night, but the property offered many amenities that our group would have enjoyed (sand volleyball, pool, fire pit, etc). The room was spacious and we enjoyed the laidback atmosphere.”

“Hotel was fine. Pool was under construction which was lame but the room itself was nice and clean. The terrace was quite unkept but a nice additin. Overall the location of the hotel is amazing being right near the beach so that in itself makes this worth it!!”

“Löser ett problem. New Port är oehört dyrt och hotellen är orimligt prissatta, detta ligger i utkanten av stan, stormarknaden är nära och motorvägen också.”

“The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. ”

“It is situated next to the Wood River which was unexpected and lovely( wish we brought our fishing rods) . It is located across from a restaurant tavern which was V convenient!”

“Lovely inn with incredibly nice and accommodating staff. Great location and walkable to everything in Downtown Newport. Breakfast was delicious and the room was great for a quick weekend trip. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent choice. We booked four rooms and had an amazing time as we attended my nephews wedding at Bell net Goat Island only 2 miles from Town and tide. Beds so comfy. They have a communal handout area called The Shed. Breakfast daily 8-10am Beautiful property. Very friendly. I highly recommend this Newport stay.”
