“Had a quick trip out to Lake Whitney for a visit. Needed a place to overnight and found this place. Worked out for our needs. It sits out about 10 minutes east/northeast of Whitney on some caliche roads. Was peaceful and relaxing after a day of running around. Nice view and quiet. Bed comfy, a/c worked great (a bit of noise but nothing out of ordinary), and nice big bathroom area for small unit. Had small kitchen stuff with coffee bar, microwave, and small frig. Can't really cook but...

“The pictures were misleading about this property and there is a terrible cat odor smell upstairs. There is one door that is locked that the smell seems to come from. One day we came back and this door was open and what looked like an old molded mattress was on the floor. There is no pool on property, nor is there access to one. The one listed is 30 minutes way and you do not have access to the pool since it is on another resort. We sat outside on the upstairs patio one night and were eaten...

“Cute, well decorated Storage Container home. Safe area and overall a good experience. Everything needed (essentials) provided and I loved being able to cool the unit as needed.Communication was great and the drawbacks were (more so because also traveling with my 16 year old son and we watch shows at night)-The TV was unplugged and the outlet it was supposed to plug into did not work, so we tried another outlet- however, the batteries were dead in the remote, the wifi was unaccessible, Our code...

“I don’t often write reviews so bear with me,First off, the owner of the property was very communicative and kind throughout our correspondence. Any questions I had were answered promptly. “The property itself was… average at best. There was a huge wet blueish green slime stain on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, along with broken slats on the blinds in multiple rooms. The fire pit was overflowing with ashes from the previous tenants. The pool had cardboard paper and dead bugs in it. And, the absolute most insulting part? We NEVER got instructions on how to turn the hot tub/pool system on. We wasted HOURS waiting on the “owner” to send the instructions so that we could turn...

“Thank you again for hosting us. I wanted to share some feedback about the space, as we ran into several maintenance issues during our stay that impacted the overall experience. I hope this is helpful so future guests can enjoy the home fully.Air Conditioner: The unit blows cold air, but the blower only seems to have one speed and doesn’t circulate properly. The vent/air diverter that should move the air in different directions also isn’t working. Because of this, the room never cooled...
