“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

“This is a really nice hotel with many of the amenities and thoughtful touches for which Marriott is known. The staff were all excellent, the lobby is perfect for small groups desiring to gather but with some privacy, and our room was very comfy. The pool and gym are also very nice. ”

“Check in online was so easy! We did not even have to go to the front desk. We used a digital key. Easy right? The lobby was clean roomie and nicely decorated. Elevators were clean room was easy to access. Our room was very spacious. Very clean. The bathroom is clean with a nice walk-in shower and a beautiful glass enclosure. All the amenities we needed. “I had a good day. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable along with the bedding. Shower towels, and washcloth or soft and not hard or then. They do need to change their soaps, shampoo and lotion to a better brand. I would suggest having the shampoo conditioner and shower gel dispensers in the shower. They have a Pool and the breakfast was light with both cold and hot options. I will stay there again.”

“The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Omesha made our breakfast and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We definitely will stay here again when we come back. I utilized the fitness room each morning and was very happy with my stay. The lighting in the rooms were kind of dim and the water pressure could use some more pressure. Despite those 2 bumps I definitely will stay again. Thank you!!”

“We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you.”
