My rooms door had been broken into at some point and they just glued a new door jam over top of the broken one, so it like somebody could just shoulder tackle the door and it would just break open. “We had planned to stay here just one night while passing by, but when we arrived we felt so uncomfortable that we actually looked up another hotel to stay at. Our stay at this hotel was not refundable, but despite this we decided to stay at another hotel because we did not feel safe staying at the red roof inn”

“I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

The hotel room had no full length mirror which was very surprising and the ac was so loud it sounded like a motorcycle when it kicked on. The bathroom door had holes in it.
