The hotel and casino was dead empty and it's in what looks like an industrial area of KC. The rooms are fine, the casino is colorful and fun, but there's almost no restaurants. Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza
It was a nice stay. Staff was friendly. Our room was a little cold, we didn't notice the thermostat in the room until the second night. The bathroom had a slight moldy smell.

Orangewood Inn & Suites Kansas City Airport
I was pleasantly surprised by my first stay at this property. It was good value for the price, clean, and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation(s) spacious as well as efficient. Not only would I visit this property again, I would recommend it to others.

Four Points by Sheraton Kansas City Airport
Good enough. Building was clean, but not impeccable. There was plastic sheeting in the hallway to the elevators. Staff was courteous. Shuttle to airport makes it a convenient stay for a night.
