âFirst, when I was checking in, they upgraded me to a better room- what a lovely surprise! The room was very nice, and the view was nice too. They made sure we understood how to access the parking area, and showed us some areas in Victoria that I was interested in on the map. If I had one small issue, it was that their pillows are very big and dense- not something I am used to- I likely should've asked if they had softer ones available. Everything else was FABULOUS!â

There is no quick coffee shop where you can pick up a little lighter beverage or snack. Also itâs more of a resort so shopping is a taxi or car away.
Otherwise itâs a lovely spot and answered all my needs. â
âOur room was a suite (with balcony), and it was the nicest suite I have ever stayed at besides Toledo (Spain) and the most prestigious hotel suite in San Francisco, CA. It was 2.5 blocks easy walk to the Harbor and the Empress where we had high tea reservations.

âThe Inn itself is historic and grand with beautifully cared for grounds.
Our room was comfortable and well decorated and the bathroom is huge.

âBeautiful property. Our room had a view of the harbour. Although there was a shortage of wait staff, the staff were friendly hardworking and did their best to keep everyone happy. The inside and outside bar were favourite stops before bed after we explored all day. There is some smart technology on the toilets which is great ( we have one at home that is a step up but this was refreshing to see as more environmentally friendly). â
âComfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The Only negative thing was that my room was close to the street which means I could hear the traffic very clearly. So my advice is to bring some earplugs for sleep. Without them, it was impossible to sleep, too noisy. â
