A big minus was the air conditioning in the room. You can't singlehandedly switch from heat to cold, it's by floor for floor. So we had to use a fan. â
âNice hotel. The look of the hotel from the outside and the reception gives it a touch of Fawlty Towers, but luckily the service is not copied from the TV-series. It gives it an English taste. The hotel room was actually in another building then where the reception is, at the end of a corridor, but the rooms are OK.â
âI was given a room on the ground floor which was set out for a disabled person as were most of the other GF rooms. Iâm sorry but this was not suitable it felt like staying in an old folks home and I had booked 3 nights. When I asked for a room change I was told the hotel was fully booked, I was not happy with this as I had paid approximately ÂŁ90.00 a night to stay in a hospital room.
Iâm not very happy and wonât return to this hotel â

âI stayed with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The Fox provided a ramp, removeable suction hand grips, rubber shower mat and a shower seat without asking. Access via the terrace. Perfect! â

âFantastiskt mysigt hotell med shuttle bus till Shire park. JĂ€ttetrevlig och serviceinriktad personal, mitt "hus" lĂ„g en bit bort frĂ„n receptionen men det var bara att bestĂ€lla frĂ„n receptionen sĂ„ kom de och hĂ€mtade en (dock ej lĂ€ngre Ă€n att man utan problem kunde gĂ„ :-) ).

âMysigt rum med mycket atmosfĂ€r. Skön sĂ€ng, lĂ€ttreglerade element (vilket behövdes dĂ„ det var kallt ute) och en vĂ€ldigt bra dusch. KĂ€nde oss vĂ€ldigt hemma hĂ€r! Det enda vi saknade var muesli till frukost. Annars var allt sĂ„ bra det kan bli!â
âAs this hotel is supposed to be one of the best in the area it is not more than okey. It took more than five minutes to reach the reception from the hotel room telephone. The sink in the room did barely drained. And the restaurant is under all criticism, badly trained personnel and food that doesnât taste or even tastes bad. â
