“Great small town on the 395. Cross the street from a great bar/dining room. Surprisingly a lot of places to enjoy nearby. Excellent motel for Skip and run”

“I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. “I pre-paid for a night's stay. The unit was clean, everything was serviceable, the desk agent was polite. It appears to have been updated with new tile, shower doors, sink, furniture, lamps, carpet. The bed was comfortable and clean. The driveway could use a new layer of asphalt.”

“Bokade tidigt och fick grymt bra pris på rum 4/7! Dock utlovades pool vid bokningen, men den var stängd sedan månader tillbaka. Kanske tur i oturen, nu badade vi i sjön istället och den ligger väldigt bra till. Stort uppfräschningsbehov, men rent! Mycket ungdomar, antagligen kopplat till priset, men de var inget problem i sig.”

“Great value stay that exceeded expectations for the price. Room was clean and comfortable, and the late-night self check-in was quick and easy, available Parking and good Location overall. Staff I spoke with over the phone were friendly and helpful. Only downside was internet or TV were down. Not the reason I came to Tahoe, but in 2026 those feel like basic amenities. Overall, a solid stay and I’d come back.”

“We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore. Oh, and the restaurants are great also and easy walking distance. ”

“Our room had an amazing view of the lake and snowy top mountains. Decor/furniture is a bit dated and wasn’t in the best shape. Also not sure why but it took forever for the water to get warm. Met my expectations of a hotel casino resort and would likely come back again.”
