“I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. “Very friendly reception and service. We felt very welcome. Our room was newly renovated. There is nothing but forest around and we knew that so had bought food in the last village before we got there and could heat it in the micro in the room. ”

“We continue to come back to the Timber Lodge because the facility and location are outstanding as well as all the staff that works here. Not much to complain about because it is clean, comfortable and well equipped both inside and outside the room. Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience in South Shore. Oh, and the restaurants are great also and easy walking distance. ”

“Our room had an amazing view of the lake and snowy top mountains. Decor/furniture is a bit dated and wasn’t in the best shape. Also not sure why but it took forever for the water to get warm. Met my expectations of a hotel casino resort and would likely come back again.”

“Property needs some revival. Resort fee is a joke. Expect things to be loud, a lot of big groups. Mattress of the bed I had needs to be replaced. The property is located in a great place.”

Pool and hot tub are indoors which is so nice in Tahoe where it’s cold more than it’s hot. Room was great. Live music in lobby in the evenings (nothing loud and obnioux). Will definitely stay here again (and possibly only here).”

The unit was flawless and all my guests were satisfied with the experience. Everything brand new, ample parking, quiet environment. We will certainly stay here again.
