We had a lovely relaxing week in November in this impeccably renovated and decorated 200 year old cottage which has original features blended with all the modern comforts you could need including underfloor heating and a cosy stove for evenings around the fire. The cottage itself is set in the rolling County Down hills with glimpses of the Mourne Mountains in the distance on winding walks around the quiet roads. “We enjoyed our stay! Discovered we had lots to learn about how things work in the UK, and Raymond was great to respond to every question. We were a 3-generation family group of 7. The stairs were a bit challenging for me (the matriarch, with balance problems), and having 1 bathroom worked for the short stay that we had but might be challenging for a longer stay with this many guests. Hospitality was great! Raymond & Brenda had a welcome sign with all our family names on it; took a picture of it....
