“The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. “Great property in a nice quiet elevated position with lovely sea views. Very fast and effective resolution of a small plumbing issue by the local host, who was responsive and easy to communicate with. The villa was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It’s about 800m from the main village of Elounda, with a fairly steep hill on the return—something to bear in mind—but it adds to the peaceful setting and views. Would happily recommend.”

“I made this booking months in advance for the Spring season off peak season and I really wanted a hot tub to chill and relax in after being out most of the day. It was listed as a hot tub but really was a jetted section of the pool that was listed as ER 50 extra per day to be heated. My 25 year old son walked to the beach in the morning to swim the hot tub was for me and his 76 year old aunt so we could relax after long days of sightseeing. “We stayed at Villa Manika at the beginning of July and had a wonderful time. The villa is a short drive to Sitia with shops, a beautiful harbour and lots of cafes and restaurants. We had a hire car but got a taxi a few times in the evening which was 8 Euros each way. The villa was very spacious, clean and well equipped, we also liked that it was laid out on one level.
