“The bedspread of the first room was full of holes and probably not washed in a while. So they offered me a second room but I couldn't open the door and neither could the staff. The staff was certain there was someone squatting in the room. I cancelled and was told I'd get a refund in a few days but I don't think so. Never again will I stay at a Motel 6.”

“You get what you pay for. Reminder this is a budget hotel. However, despite other reviews, staff were really helpful. They answered questions and made sure everyone was satisfied. I will say the hotel was fairly nice for the price. Floors could really use a deep clean, as we had to wear shoes everywhere in our room due to the floors making our feet turn black. The bathroom was clean, but they have painted the tub so the paint would chip when you took a shower. The pool is next door at the...

“Although the room had been "cleaned" it smelled of stale cigarette smoke and dirty carpet. It was a no smoking room. The door knob on the inside of the bathroom was falling off, so you couldn't close the door. The faucet in the sink in the room was dripping, the only chair was dirty, and the upholstery was so worn there were holes in it. We did not stay. We forfeited our payment and left.”

Beware of an additional charge for the safe in your room. I've never had additional charges for a safe before. Front desk will reverse the fee for you, but I didn't even know about it until I got home and saw the extra charge on my bank account.”

“The bed was terrible; it had huge lump in the middle and indentions on both sides. The bedding had burn holes in it. The place smelled like dog piss. The room across from us had 3 dogs that been left in the room alone and whined and barked all the time. My husband talked to the staff about it and all she said was, "I'll see what I can do" over and over again. There were several cars parked in the lot with people just sitting in them. It felt very scary.”
