The Space:
Newly finished basement King Suite, located in a quiet mountainside neighborhood. Feel like you're getting away for the evening while being minutes from local attractions including Hill AFB (10min), Lagoon amusement (15min), Downtown Salt Lake (30min), Salt Lake Airport (35 min), Snowbasin Resort (25 min), and so much more!

You'll have access to a private bath, King bed, and set of twin bunks, as well as shared access to kitchen, laundry, living room, spacious backyard and firepit. 2 other rooms and 1 bathroom may be booked by other guests. if you would like to book the entire 3 bed/2bath space, or more than 1 room, please see our other listings or contact us for more information.

The room has outlets with USB ports by the beds just in case you forget your wall charger, TV has with roku connected allowing you to access your favorite streaming services. Additionally, we've provided access to a media server with over 1000 movies and thousands of songs for you to enjoy.

Beautiful room, chic bathroom! The sheets and bedding were so fresh and soft! I felt right at home! They made sure to let me know that my dog was welcome!

Disgusting
As the adage goes - you get what you pay for. I chose this property because it was inexpensive but cheap should not mean dirty and smelly. Before even entering the property we knew it was not going to be good - even before getting out of the car the mess, disarray and amount of stuff spilling from the open garage was telling. From there, the bad smell from the room we stayed in was prominent before we even opened the door. It was bad but perhaps manageable until the bathroom door was opened - the bathroom literally smelled like feces. On top of the smell the toilet was so dirty with dried piss I had to clean it with Clorox wipes before we could use it. Based on how gross the room was generally we were doubtful that the bedding was clean so we slept in our clothes on top of the blankets. The owners seemed nice but I don’t think they have any idea what is required to host other people in their home. Which - by the way, should be made more clear in their description. We did not know that we would be sleeping below them while they walked around into the early morning hours. Lesson learned - next time we will throw down the extra cash to avoid this situation. Sorry to write such a scathing review but we absolutely cannot recommend this property!

Excellent room
I am starting a new job in the Clearfield area and with the hours I am working and the close location this was perfect. From Freeport center to this VRBO was about 15 minutes to drive. Also close to anything else you might need! Thank you for the great stay!

Perfect for what it is
For the price, location, and quality this property is a winner. It isn’t fancy but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The property manager was always prompt with any answers. If we were to stay again, I would want my whole family with me to justify renting the entire space for ourselves. I would also love to stay when everything isn’t completely encased in snow so we could enjoy the outdoor space. My only note is that this location, especially when mixed with snow and ice, can be difficult to access. My mother is capable of waking and stairs but had a very hard time using the outdoor staircase to the basement. The manager kept them as swept and ice free as possible, but it was still a struggle. Despite that, we were both very happy to have such a comfortable location to rest.

Good place for the price
My family and I stayed in two of the units on the property. It was nice and clean. The hot water is on demand, so make sure you know how that works when you get there. It is a basement rental so keep in mind that there may be some spiders, but nothing too crazy. The property owner was easy to get a hold of when we needed anything.

The renovations to the yard area are ongoing, which was not an issue for me at all. There is a nice table and fire pit with seating in perfectly good order. The location can be a bit challenging to find if you arrive for the first time after dark. But that’s mostly unavoidable. The common areas were clean, as was the room. I appreciate that the TVs were set up with Guest accounts for steaming services. Through scheer luck this was the second time I’ve stayed here (I didn’t book it the first time) and it’s likely I’ll book again when I return to the area in the spring.

Clean, Great Communication, Perfect for our needs.
The property was in a perfect location between Ogden and SLC. Room was very clean. Communication was good. We enjoyed our stay at this property. I would recommend this property to others and would stay again.

Misleading and No Communication
The property host did not respond to any of the messages we sent. Very upsetting to have zero direct communication. There is no backyard. Just a dirt patch with construction materials. Misleading. There are two deep window wells right by the basement entrance that have no covers. This is very unsafe for pets and kids. There was also garbage on the pathway leading to the rental basement. The basement room is clean. Entrance is easy. There is a large gap on the door to the room making safety a concern. Basement is also musty smelling.
