Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. “Comfortable and welcoming home. There were many extra items in the kitchen (i.e., condiments, coffee, spices, oils and syrups). That's a huge plus to us. Very comfortable bed. Good central location to get anywhere in Hickory quickly.Nicely decorated. If we are in the area again, we will definitely look this place and owner up!”

“This house was an excellent basecamp for a group of friends looking to explore the Linville Gorge area over a few days. The house is very cute & located in a beautiful neighborhood just a couple miles from many of the trails in Linville Gorge. Everything was clean & well ordered and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. Highly recommend!”

“Our daughter wanted to spend her 8th birthday in the mountains with snow and this cabin was the perfect place to do it! We skied at Beech Mountain, went tubing at Sugar Mountain and got to sit in the hot tub while snow fell down around us! We even got deer as visitors who slept right below the living room windows! We enjoyed our stay and the hosts have furnished the place with thoughtful things like a towel warmer, a record player and coffee bar! Very thankful for a washer and dryer to help...
